Polyester Hollow fibre Toy Stuffing/Filling (1 kg)

WOW, this is great value and a great product. I used it to make two dog beds and had to order more to make another one and some cushions. I have now order more. Very happy to recommend though I think I should have kept this little find to myself as it really is amazing value. It fluffs up really well. After a very muddy visit to the park one of the dog beds had to go in the wash. I was informed that it washed up really well and a run in the tumble drier and it was back to it's bouncy soft condition.

Excellent quality. I purchased this item in 1kg to give it a try. I knit toys and the stuffing for these soft toys need to be of a good quality and washable. I filled a soft toy and washed it to test the goods and this is as good as stuffing purchased from Hobbycraft, just as soft and washable and Sooooo much more reasonable priced. I will be ordering larger quantities in future and saving more money.

While this arrived promptly, the courier was worried that the bag was damaged in two places. Luckily the weather was fine, otherwise the contents would have been damaged. I like the fibre as it seems firm yet springy. The fibre stuffed into as bag seems cutting corners, otherwise a good buy, value for money.

This is not the best in terms of quality and it’s described as premium.It’s not as soft as other makes I have used and like others I have found odd bits of fibres and all sorts in it. It also flattens very quickly and you can’t just puff it up and shake it as it won’t go back into any kind of shape without having lumps.I have used it for stuffing teddies I’ve made and cushions as well as my 12ft long body pillow which needed some extra oomph.I haven’t tried washing it yet as quite frankly I’m too scared to as who knows what it will be like and if there will be any left!I will be replacing the cushion stuffing I have used with another when I get some decent stuff and I’m using the rest for cat cushions and when it needs washing I’ll just chuck it out.I bought a 4kg bag for £9.99, now it’s £11.75, tomorrow it could be £20.00, this company seem to change their prices on a daily basis.I woulda stay clear of the company and their stuffing and go for another brand. I won’t be buying from them again.

I’m using this to fill a floor cushion as it’s good value compared to other fillings. I wasn’t too sure how much I’d need so I’ve had to order more but I’m pleased with the quality. I’d advise you to put something over your nose and mouth if filling a large object as the fibres float around. Delivery was sooner than estimated date.

I am very pleased with this stuffing, it looked a bit grey at first glance but this an effect of the grey bag it was packed in. After pulling out a handful I could see that it was white and fluffy with no lumps as was all that I have used so far to stuff three toys. I will buy again but not for some time as one kg is an awful lot of stuffing!

I was not too happy with the packaging for this - it came in just a plastic bag, so if that had split in transit the material would have been leaking out and exposed to contamination. The colour was a bit grey too, but once I put it into a clear plastic bag it looked more impressive. The main problems are the smell, which is rather like machine oil, and the way it feels. It does pack a toy in a nice, even way, but when using it there is an odd greasy feel to it, and I didn't like working with it. I also felt I needed to wash the completed toys with it to try and get rid of that lingering odour, and it didn't seem to help. I might have had better luck washing the filling first, so I am going to give that a shot.
