Superior Plastic Case and Holster Combo for iPhone 4 - 1 Pack - Bulk Packaging - Black

This review is for the Superior AIP4HOC Plastic Case and Holster Combo. I bought it for the iPhone 4s (ATT).Design- Case, Inside: Hard, smooth plastic- Holster, Inside: Soft smooth felt like material. Front of iPhone faces the holster.- Case, Outside: Hard, textured plastic- Holster, Outside: Hard, textured plastic- Case, Protection: The case surrounds the iPhone on all sides except for the top and the bottom where it offers partial protection. On one side, the case extends out a little on both the top and the bottom.- Holster, Protection: The Holster and Case combination provides full protection. The Case and Holster fit very snugly and does not give me the impression that it will come apart easily. However, there is no give in the outer textured coating, thus does not appear to be able to absorb impact energy.- Case, Size: The case does not add very much girth to the phone.- Holster, Size: The Case with the Holster on the other hand is quite large. Reminding me of the old days when your phone was the size of a shoebox :)Fit- Case: iPhone 4s is a very tight fit. Not easy to place or remove the iPhone for maintenance purposes. Thus I am slightly concerned here, as my prior iPhone's back was scratched by dirt that found its way between the case and the iPhone.Features:- Case: The case has a very nice kick stand on the back that allows for vertical and horizontal placement of the phone. Both provide a nice viewing angle when viewed from a sitting position- Holster: The holster as what appears to be a very sturdy belt clip. The belt clip is not free moving, rather it has very specific, small gap, geared(?) position system. It reminds me of the dive watches where the bezel does not move with continuous steps, but rather very coarse steps.Build Quality:- Both the Case and the Holster have a great feel. It feels like a quality product even though it was $~9

it's decent for the price. kind of hard to put phone in the holster without getting your shirt stuck in it. Also, i think over time, the grip of the holster will loosen, and phone may fall out of holster. material of the case and holster is a noir soft feel to it, which is nice and scratch resistant.

Great case. Nice build quality. Love the kickstand. But there are 2 downsides. 1) the case is a matte black finish, meaning if you get any type of grease on it, it will leave a mark and smear unless you can clean it in fast. 2)It's too hard too take your phone out of the case, you literally have to fight with it, which means the case will NEVER slip off your iPhone. This is bad if you have a dock that requires you to take off the case in order for the phone to fit. All in all, its worth every penny, and the case looks very good.

This case is bad to the bone, bar none. Not only does it protect the iPhone from most falls, if not all falls, but it allows you to prop the phone up on a table/desk so that you can view the screen without holding it up. This case is durable and comfortable in your hand. Not only is this case good, but it is also at a GREAT price point. Honestly, after owning this case for 1 month and putting it to the test, I would have gladly paid three times as much for it. This case comes Highly Recommended!

Actually purchased this twice. I stupidly didn't learn the first time...Both times, incurred the same problems:1. Thin plastic strip broke along volume buttons. It would jut out or my hair would get caught, eventually had to rip it off. Top left corner was completely exposed if I were to drop my phone.2. Stand doesn't snap close. It would hang out loosely.3. Often, stand would pop off. Frequently had to snap it back into place.Instead of purchasing this twice, wish I went for a ~$15 case to begin with. The case is hands down one of the best cases I have used for the iPhone. It helps keep the overall feel of the device slim unlike some of the other cases. The only two problems that I see with this case is the lack of protection on the top and bottom of the device (there is no hard plastic protection, except if used with the holster), and the kickstand feels flimsy.Update 12/28/11I dropped my iphone today and the glass just shattered as if there was no protection at all. Needless to say there is no point in a case that doesn't protect from a fall of regular height (from my pocket to the floor). I still like the textured back but my main point in buying a case has been protection not look or feel.

This case fits the iPhone 4S perfectly. It's very easy to snap on, but pretty challenging to remove. Overall, it's well built and slides nicely in and out of the holster. The holster grips fine for everyday use, but it did let go once while I was running down a hall. The phone hit the carpeted floor without damage, but I'm careful not to run with it in the holster now.The case provides moderate protection. The corners of the iPhone are partially exposed. It's handled a few drops from standing height with no damage to the iPhone. The case is a hard rubber with textured sides and back which help make it grippy. The stand works as described, although I don't use it much.My biggest complaint is that the case is hard to remove. It takes a bit of prying with both hands to remove it.It also doesn't play nice with the iPhone's built-in flash, as others have commented. It can cause a reflection that essentially ruins the photo with a big blob of hazy white glow. I don't use the flash much, so it's not a big issue for me. Some flash photos do turn out okay.
