Air Sandblaster Kit Grit Shot Sand Blaster Heavy Duty TE145

I have only recently acquired a compressor so I was looking at things I could plug into it!!!! I saw this and, after looking a few others seem this looked for the price and people had said you could use kiln dried sand with it.I have a trailer that was in need of some love so, I took the wheels off and decided to sand blast the rusty hubs. I got the sand for about £5, but on some goggles.The GoodThis works very well and ripped through the rust in a way that put smile on my face.There are spare nozzles includedThe gun is comfortable to use and there is plenty of hose.The overall effect was very good (Given I have no other experience of using a sand blaster).The BadThe instructions are a little "brief" to say the least.That's about it reallyWARNINGOK, this is obvious but I you need decent protection when using this. Sand goes everywhere, more than I had expected. Even using a old pair of ski goggles, the sand hitting my face was an issue. Also, my hands where abused more than I expected. So, just be careful when using this. Also, using sand on a long term basis can be dangerous I understand as you may be breathing in the dust which can be harmful (Not a doctor, sorry,).Overall, AMAZING value for the price

The tube was too long and deformed easily, causing a blockage and stopping the sand from coming out. I removed the supplied tube and replaced it with a shorter length of stiff garden hose. The tool now works well, and despite the inconvenience, I'm happy to have an effective tool at a reasonable price. The hose cost me nothing as I already had a piece lying around. You do need a good compressor to keep this supplied with a sufficient air flow.

Even at 150psi there is not enough suction to pull the grit up that long pipe (the packaging also left some folds in it which had to be cut away). I got around this by cutting a 2ft pipe section which then I put in a portable container at waist height. The metal tube is rather pointless. It would have been better to have just packaged the gun and a male adaptor. Only used once on a gate, the grit I used wasn't good enough to cut through the powder coating, or maybe I need more than 150psi. Not disappointed but could do with recommendations about use of grit types for different situations.

Not bad. I need stronger blasting, but maybe it is my compressor.

Didnt come with air line conector apart from that works perfect
