John Masters Organics Hair Paste

I've been using this John Masters Organics hair paste for a while now and its one of those products where you immediately notice the difference coming from whatever you were using before. The hold is strong but not stiff or crunchy the way cheaper drugstore pastes can get, it keeps things in place all day without feeling like you put anything heavy in your hair. The texture is smooth and fortunately a little goes a long way, which helps justify the price somewhat. A 2 oz jar lasts me probably 3 months. You can feel the difference from typical grocery store available brands, it's not greasy or heavy. It is expensive, and on top of that its getting harder and harder to track down these days. I went without it for 6 months when I couldn't find it in stock anywhere. I ended up trying other products including gels, but now that it's back on Amazon I'm back onboard again. As long as you can find it and you're willing to pay the premium it's absolutely worth it.

Works well but company is deceptive in passing it off as a natural product. Contains preservatives, etc

Recipient loves it. Keeps thinning hair in place and has a matte look. Doesn't look like he has anything on there but stays in place. Plus it's super healthy. The yucca app rated its ingredients top notch.

Great product that is a mild to medium hold, organic, almost no smell, all natural and great for adding texture to a variety of hair styles . I do recommend adding 2 or 3 drops of argan oil on your hair if it tends to look dry like mine since i blow dry it almost everyday. Then add this product. Lastly, I decided to subtract 1 star because the plastic jar the product is in had a lot of little scratches and looked a little beat-up like it had been dropped or shuffled around in someone's store or storage facility. It also made me wonder if this product had been on their shelf for years and therefore I am not getting a newly made and fresh product.

I have not used hair paste before, I have used hair gel, but this paste holds so much better. I was looking for a natural organic product and this was the best one that I could find on Amazon. You just need a very little bit to hold your hair in place.

I use this for a textured look when styling my hair. The cleanest paste I have been able to find so far. Good hold also.

Really great product, one container typically lasts me 4-5 months. A small amount is enough to give a great hold and style and your hair doesn't feel all brittle or like plastic.

He usado siempre cera pero quería encontrar una cera que fuera orgánica sin que me perjudicase al pelo y la encontré, la fijación es fuerte y tiene un olor anaranjado, con que te eches un poquito ya basta asi que puede durar mucho. Sin duda alguna la volveré a comprar.

Wäre das Produkt ein konventionelles Haarstylingprodukt mit vorrangig künstlichen Inhaltstoffen, würde ich nur 4 von 5 Sternen geben. Die Paste ist nicht perfekt, aber für eine schadstofffreie Matt-Paste (Ökotest 2020: Sehr gut) macht sie wirklich gute Arbeit. Ich nutze es bei kräftigen, mittellangen und leicht lockigen Haaren, um etwas Form und Spiel in die Frisur zu bringen. Man darf allerdings auf keinen Fall die gleiche Wirkung wie bei, vorrangig chemischen Produkten erwarten. Die Haar fühlen sich zunächst etwas trocken an, dieses Gefühl verfliegt aber schnell. Die Langzeithaltbarkeit und die Stärke des Haltes sind aber natürlich aufgrund der fehlenden künstlichen Inahltstoffe, eher schwach bis moderat. Dennoch gibt es für meinen Haartyp genug Struktur und Form. Der Geruch ist nicht wirklich toll für meine Nase, verfliegt aber in den Haaren und ist okay. Einzig der Preis ist grenzwertig.
