Works okay
Canny little thing. Heats up well. Stays hot for around 3-4 hours. Itโs quite thick. Itโs not overly big, (it fit in my letterbox flat for delivery). No smells coming from it at all. When I first heat it up, it wasnโt hot. I squished the thing inside a bit (like you would do with microwave rice ๐) & put it back in the microwave, was boiling when it came back out. ********EDITโฆ..tried it again last night, 3mins in the microwave & it only stayed hot for an hour. Not very impressed with it last night but Iโll try again tonight to see what happens.

Excellent product
Loving this hottie, so much better than a wheat bag or hot water bottle. Pros: No having to boil water, no accidental burning of wheat (done that a few times) and best of all it holds heat for longer than wheat. Cons: Only one - I found the lambswool cover too thick and not letting enough heat through so I made my own by crocheting a cover - it works a treat and I can now feel the heat but still protected. All in all I highly recommend this hottie.

Love these
I buy these every year, and wouldn't be without them. In the winter, we microwave one each every evening to keep us warm as we settle down to watch TV. Even better if you throw a nice warm fleecy blanket over the top too. It saves having to have the heating on too high, so they are great for anyone who feels the cold and wants to save some money on heating costs. Sometimes when it's really cold, one isn't enough to keep you completely warm, so we have 2 each available just in case! They do tend to need replacing after about a year because the covers get a bit tatty and sometimes they leak slightly after many uses. When they do leak, it's usually just a tiny amount of liquid that comes out and get absorbed into the cover, so I would say it's not really dangerous for children or the elderly. Much safer than traditional hot water bottles, and they only take 2 minutes in the microwave to heat up. Also useful to place on bad backs and injured muscles.

Lovely to cuddle on a winters night.
The product is really good. Stays warm for hours. Saves filling with water from the kettle. As regards delivery from Amazon frequently the delivery driver just throws the product on the floor and doesnโt even ring the bell. Really irritating as we have no idea that it has been delivered and it could be left on the ground in all weathers. Not acceptable.

Simple safe way to get comforting heat.
This is a great product, 1, But be warned don't leave it in the microwave for too long or else it resembles a football and it will pop. Very dangerous. 2, No more than 90 sec, in the microwave. one side then turn over for 60 sec, But watch it, do not let it swell up, Turn the Microwave off' and leave Hottie it to cool down by itself if it does. It has excellent instruction on how to use on the inside of the cover. 3, I have used mine for months and I think it is so much safer than pouring Hot water into a small hole. On the conventional water bottles. The cover is nice and soft and I think it will last a long time. Mine will stay warm, for over 40mins, But not Hot, When cold you then just pop it back in the Microwave for 60sec or so. You will know how long to leave it in the Microwave after using it a few times. I would recommend it, instead of a water bottle you fill up.

Doesn't get or stay very warm
OK for a heatpad for injuries, no good to keep bed warm. Looks cosy but feeble performance in my experience.

Soooo comforting
How did I manage before microwave hot bottles This my 2nd one - - 1 for feet and the other for hands. Both excellent just 2 mins to get super hot and comforting Almost worth autumn arriving. Seriously they are THE way to keep warm especially for my hands and feet

Hotties Microhottie
This is my third Hottie. It works well and is ready in around two and a half microwave minutes and the heat lasts all night. I give this product 4 stars rather than 5, not because it does not work well, but because it has a limited life and needs careful handling. It is risky to allow a child or an elderly person to warm up the unit because it can easily overheat and burst. Repeated heating and cooling eventually wears out the inner plastic pack and it can then leak. (Replacement packs are available at a fairly reasonable cost.) In short, a very acceptable product but with room for improvement.
