Amazing cage. My cat is scared of his carrier and would always panic and hurt himself and cry trying to get out. And was impossible to get him in and out. So looked for one like this and its so much better! So easy to just lift him in, its strong and sturdy, you can take the tray out and clean it, i put a cat bed inside to make it cosy. He can see out and has so much room. Has made going to the vet so much less stressful. Would definitely recommend! Its pricey but so worth it as it will last me such a long time. Better than fiddling with one of those plastic clip carriers ever again. Great purchase thankyou!

very impressed with this cat carrier after it being recommended by a friend. my cat only goes in the car to vet appointments and is a nervous traveller. with previous carriers he was very scared and uncomfortable. because this carrier is open he can see around him and is more content. it’s not the cheapest but it is sturdy. i found putting him in the boot with the back seat pulled forward allowed him to be more straight than he was on the back seat. i’m glad i got the large size as the small would have been too tiny for my big cat at 6kg.

Prompt efficient and reliable service! Exceptional! I contacted the seller on Thurs after purchasing this large cat carrier. I was a bit worried at first, thinking that I would not get it on time, therefore contacted the seller. The seller got back to me promptly and dispatched the product, I have just had delivery today (Sat) and I’m delighted! With it snowing today I didn’t think the item would arrive today, however the delivery service & Dpd driver were also brilliant battling through the snow to get it here! So I’m well chuffed:) I needed it asap to take my cat to the vet. I researched a lot on the type of cat carriers to purchase. The last one was a bag and for my nervous cat it was a carry on to get her in! Hopefully this does the trick, nonetheless I’m happy with the service and the product. The product is a bit pricey, but I’m happy with it, as the quality is good & the carrier is sturdy. The item itself fits the description, came assembled (another bonus) and is not too small just perrrfect for my feline! She’s been comfortably sniffing around it and has seemed to have approved it so far! The big news is she’s been to the Vet! This carrier came in so handy & did the trick! 😃 Thank you so much 😊

This was an urgent purchase after my cat decided to escape his normal carrier while trying to take him to the vets. His normal carrier was an all singing and dancing, fold out side, mega fabric pet carrier in grey. He was out of it in less then five minutes, as he nosed the zips out the way. Luckily he was harnessed and leashed; I made it home before anything worse then a firm hold resulted. My ears are still echoing with his high pitched screams. He should have won an Oscar for his neighbourhood speech. Thus the decision to spend out a huge amount for an escape proof metal carrier; I’ve often seen used for feral rescues etc. I also had one week to get said carrier before the next excursion to the vets. This carrier came in one day. The carrier comes in a large cardboard box. It doesn’t need to be assembled, you can use it straight out the box. I have washed the tray just to get rid of any particles etc. I suspect the cardboard box will be a win with said feline, maybe scoring me some mouse points. Now I have to introduce the feline to said crate. I have inserted a tactical blanket and his fluffy rat toy, some enticing cat treats - you know the ones you can shake and they come running. Let’s see if the Houdini can get out of this one. I am putting said carrier in a hooded dog stroller to make sure with the extra layers of ‘fencing’. The security will be very proud. Echoes of Steve McQueens famous motorbike scene comes to mind. I’ll edit once I’ve been to the vets to tell you how it goes. Operation fellowship adventure begins. Wish me Edited to add as promised: The carrier worked well. Do make sure you insert the rod the right way round. The loop end should clip onto the basket top to hold it in place. I added a piece of thin muslin to one end which the cat like to hide under (keep one end open or space to allow air flow all the way round). I also added a heavy duty clip on shoulder strap. I clipped it onto each end about a run from the top. I would highly recommend especially with the bits I’ve added.

I bought this to replace a cat carrier after the clips broke. After doing some research and discovering cats feel less stressed being covered, I bought the large version on the MDC cat carrier as my Ragdoll cross cat is nearly 6kg and matching blue cover at the same time. They were more pricey than buying from the company direct, however I bought over the weekend with delivery from Amazon when I realised my cat may need a trip to the vet on the Monday. These carriers make it easier for cats at the vets, as it easier for the vet to examine them. The carrier is brilliant. Even though I had a top loader before, the large size means I can more easily pick my cat up and put her in with door closed before she knows what has happened. It is very robust so no concerns about broken clips in the future, and the handle is comfortable. My cat has plenty of room in the carrier, which will make a forthcoming house move slightly easier in terms of transporting her. The tray at the moment is easily removed to clean, and I put one of her folded blankets inside it for comfort. I use the blue matching cover with it, and it's really made a difference to my cat. Is she now quiet after the initial meows of protest, and they confirmed at the vets cats are happier being covered. The only negative is that the carrier is very heavy, with cat inside, however because the handle is so secure, there is no fear the carrier may come apart like I sometimes had with my last one. There are cheaper carriers, but this is worth the investment. I'm really glad I bought this and wish I had discovered them sooner.

The cat carrier with an opening top is just right for my cat who doesnt like going into a carrier with a door. It's light weight, airy and when you place a cushion in the bottom it is just right for my cat. To order it was easy and it arrived promptly. Im very satisfied with it.

I bought one of these for my two ragdoll kittens, but by the time they had to visit the vets it was very unlikely that they would both be able to fit it one basket. So I bought another. If I had bought the larger basket there is no way I would have been able to carry it and two large kittens due to weight. Also, by buying two of the smaller cages, which are large enough for the kitten/cat to lay stretched out in, it saves the problem of one of the cats jumping out when opening to get the other cat out at the vets when it shouldn't have! The kittens love them. I line the plastic tray at the bottom of the carrier with a couple of towels to make it feel nice and soft for them. The fastening system is very good, and the actual basket is made of very heavy coated metal, very secure. I bought the white ones. The only drawback is that it is open all the way round and on a very windy or rainy day it can get wet inside. But there is a cover online which you can buy. But I am going to make my own covers. Not a very big drawback. I have lent it to others with no complaints. I don't think I will have to buy another as I believe it will last a long time, but if I ever did I would buy this one again.

Much easier to put a skittish cat into. Cat able to sit up and was more relaxed. Very pleased with it.

Cage très solide, ouvrant complètement par le dessus, ce qui est très pratique (pas de contorsion par une ouverture étroite pour attraper les chats qui ne veulent pas sortir). Tout est métallique, y compris la barre de fermeture, ce qui évite qu'un chat agité vous explose la cage (mésaventure qui m'a obligé à trouver une nouvelle cage). La barre de fermeture se termine crochet qui se cale dans la grille, empêchant toute ouverture accidentelle. Seul le bac de propreté, au fond, est en plastique assez épais, bien dimensionné et facile à retirer et laver. Vraiment un très bon produit.

Je recommande vivement cette cage qui est vraiment belle est pratique pour un chat qui ne se laisse pas manipuler par un Véto ..elle est juste wahou ...mon veto m en prete une de contention mais la je pense que ce ne sera plus la peine ..au moins cette cage ne va pas casser comme les autres ..arrivée montée juste a deballer elle est legere au top de chez top n hesitez pas !!

Einfach super, stabil, sicher zu verschließen, der Tierarzt freut sich..... Einfach eine Styrodurplatte passend zu Wanne schneiden, ein ganz normales Handtuch drum wickeln und schon hat die Katze halt im Korb und selbst ein Pinkelunfall ist ganz leicht zu säubern, nie mehr Angst um die Autositze. Der Korb bietet freie Sicht in jede Richtung, offen ist er wie ein Karton eine Einladung zum Einsteigen. Stelle den Korb gelegentlich mit ins Wohnzimmer und binde ihn ins Spiel mit ein, klappt bestens. Selbst unser Angstkater geht freiwillig rein oder lässt sich ohne Gegenwehr reinsetzen. Der Tierarzt braucht keinen schweren Handschuh mehr um an seinen Patienten zu kommen. Die schönen weichen Tragetaschen die Mensch in gutem Glauben für viel Geld kauft sind halt doch nicht Tiergerecht. Hier würde ich sofort 10 Sterne geben und kann eine absolute Kaufempfehlung aussprechen

Sehr gut verarbeitet und der Bewertung eines Käufers, das sich der Boden bei einer Belastung von 8 kg durchbiegt , muss ich widersprechen. Mein Kater bringt laut Tierarzt 10 kg auf die Waage und der Biden hat dich nicht durchgebogen.
