Cheap and they work. For the price, very good. Great for BDSM games.

I needed a selection of padlocks with different keys. It wasn't completely clear whether these were keyed alike, but they were cheap enough so I ordered them. The keys are different so they meet my needs, however if you need keyed alike locks you'll need different ones.

These are not high quality locks. Three stars (not less), because what did you expect from locks that cost 55p each? Not more -- because when all's said and done, they're not that good or useful.I bought them because several reviewers said "all the keys fit all the locks" which is what I wanted. They were wrong. The keys are all trying to be different, but the quality of the mechanism means that some keys open some locks beside the one they were intended for. But that's a minority.Two of the locks failed to re-lock after the first unlock. That doesn't inspire confidence -- how long before the others fail just when you wanted them to work?Overall: they're little locks. They're nowhere near the quality of some of the others on sale here which cost only slightly more money. That said, no tiny lock is really particularly strong, so it really depends what you want it for.

These locks are good value for money items, they are fairly sturdy compared to some. The keys did grind a bit in the barrel at first, but if you put a drop or 2 of clipper oil or 3in1 into each lock, before you first insert the key they work smoothly. They are certainly tuff enough to put off the average chancer, but a really determined thief or burglar would maybe not be put off. Im not sure how they would be in luggage hold for international travel, TSA approved ones might be better for that. But enough to put through the zips of a work or light travel bag. Mine are currently keeping the hands of fiddling children out of my tool boxes with enough space to spare between the shackle and box for a 4/5mm security cable. Comparing the price to other well known brands, they are a very affordable and functional but not high security alternative. Items arrived very soon, next day in fact with 4 days to spare on the arrival estimate.4 stars for value and delivery time, 3.5 for build quality.

Not sure what sheerness is! Nice little padlock just don't expect Fort Knox grade security.

Sturdy little padlocks if using for indoors..would recommend putting on a keyring as keys are small.

Purchased these for an at home escape room I was making, and for what I was looking to achieve these will do the job. Bit for their intended purpose I have to give 1 star.In my pack of 12:1 fell apart as soon as it was out of the package (see pics)1 didn't work with any of the key (o tried all 24)9, despite being different locks with their own keys all worked to open each other. Made me feel that anyone who owns the same locks could get into your belongings (if thats what was being used for)Only 1 stood out on its own. It worked with the keys that came with it, none of the other keys worked with it and it didn't fall apart on use.If your looking for extremely cheap locks for a project where their intend purpose is not an issue then you can't get better on price.But if your after something that actually works as a lock, I would suggest spending a bit more and getting something that works as it should.
