This comes out of the container as just a stream if oil. Very greasy. Coated bathroom floor in slippery substance.

Probably the worst aftersun I’ve ever used

I bought the Sun Bum Cool Down Aloe Vera Gel after a weekend of being way too confident about my sunscreen skills, and honestly, this stuff saved me. The gel goes on super smooth, absorbs fast, and does not leave that sticky or tacky feeling a lot of aloe products do. The cooling effect hits right away and actually stays. My skin felt calmer within minutes. I also love that it has vitamin E and tea tree oil in it. My redness went down noticeably overnight, and I did not peel nearly as much as I usually do. The scent is light and clean, not overpowering. If you keep it in the fridge, it feels even better. If you want something that actually soothes sunburn without feeling greasy, this is it. I will definitely keep a bottle around all summer.

So... I had sunburn... very painful across my whole back, top of my forehead & the back of my arms. Stupid, I know... USE SUNBLOCK PEOPLE! However, if u don't because u want "a little color" and end up like me, then I highly recommend this after-sun product. It smells amazing and doesn't leave the sticky residue like green Aloe Vera. After rubbing it in, my hands feel super soft. It gives my skin the hydration it needs so I won't peel (and lose the tan I was desperate for). My personal hack... After the sensitivity of the burn calms, I like keeping a bottle in the fridge for that extra cooling sensation. I love this stuff! Sun Bum is a great product... u should definitely try the sunblock tho, it worked where I applied it! I didn't take a pic for obvious reasons, but when u rub it in, it will dry clear.

We used this entire tube during a recent trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands, so that should tell you how much we liked it. It feels cool and soothing on sunburned skin, provides plenty of moisture, and has that classic tropical Sun Bum scent that smells like summer in a bottle. It absorbs nicely without leaving you feeling like a sticky, marinated lobster. The travel-size tube is also perfect for a carry-on and made it through TSA without incident, even if I barely did. “Sir, please stop yelling at me. I’m trying to follow the three different instructions your TSA coworkers are giving me at the same time.” If you burn easily, pack this before your trip instead of paying vacation-destination prices after the damage is done. Next time, I’m bringing two tubes because one was definitely not enough for the whole family. Good for sensitive skin, very effective at reducing redness, tightness and stinging.
