I bought this pastry tamper as a gift for my mum, who loves making her own mince pies but always hated the mess and time it took to press the pastry into the tray with her fingers. I actually spotted one on a friend's Instagram story while she was making mince pies with her nan, and she mentioned it was an old-fashioned tool passed down through generations. I struggled to find one in shops, but of course, Amazon came through! The quality of the wood is fantastic—it feels really sturdy and well-made. I love that it's double-ended with two sizes, perfect for both mini and regular pies or tarts. I’m sure it would be great for jam tarts too! My mum was absolutely thrilled with it, and it’s made her pastry-making experience so much easier and quicker. A real gem of a find and a perfect gift for anyone who loves baking but wants to save time and avoid the mess!

Great little tool. Gets used loads

The lady who works for me couldn't for the life of her, guess what this was for, but when I showed her, she was thrilled. It's a very clever item and perfect to use when doing pastry casings. It's not what you need until you use it, and then you wonder why you never bought one or even designed it yourself.

Easy to use but not easy to clean. After cleaning, it has been cracked.

Smaller end perfect for the job in hand, ie pressing pastry into bun tins. I'll probably never use the bigger end.

This was delivered quickly and did the job I needed perfectly which was to push pastry down into a Pie Maker. Great additional at a reasonable price.

Ich habe den Teigstampfer gekauft, um Streuselteigboden in Mini-Käsekuchenformen gleichmäßig flach zu drücken. Das funktioniert hervorragend. Inzwischen nehme ich teilweise auch einfach eine entsprechend große Teigkugel, drücke sie mit dem Stampfer in die Form und erhalte so eine perfekte Teigschale. Von meiner Seite eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Produit pas très cher et qui fait le taf. Les 2 tailles sont très pratiques pour faire des tartelettes ou mini tartelettes. De ce fait plus de place dans le tiroir, vu que tout est sur le même « bâton »

Couldn’t find in Walmart and product makes baking mini nut cups much easier working the dough. No issues.

Va molto bene x schiacciare la pasta sfoglia o pasta frolla nello stampo x muffin,basta infarinarlo prima di schiacciare,molto utile anche x stampini più piccoli
