wolfcraft MG 200 Cartridge Gun, Ergonomic Caulking Gun for 310 ml Sealant

This has to be one of the best cartridge guns I've ever used. For years I've used the cheap metal cage things with a thump plate to release the pressure. No more. This tool is light and easy to use. It holds the cartridge very well indeed and is very smooth to use, it's so easy to apply nice even pressure to get a good consistent bead of sealant. It's light weight makes it easy to remain in a stable position with the work as well, which aids that consistent bead. The return of the trigger to the normal position is nice too, not a jolt, again its nice and smooth. It's only compatible with the smaller (310ml) cartridges of sealant of course, but I guess most of us will use such things at home. The nice way that it stops putting pressure on the cartridge when you stop squeezing is so nice to use. None of that "Oops! I forgot to release the pressure and now sealant is everywhere" nonsense I've been struggling with for years. Stop squeezing, stop flowing. I'm thinking this is one of my better choices of tool in terms of function and value for money. Of course now I'm wondering how good the higher prices Wolfcraft cartridge guns are too.

Keeps your rolls stable and made from some hard plastic this has been dropped many a time now and still going strong. I don’t usually leave reviews but this one deserved it; best little bit of money I have spent.

Edit: It doesnt fit all tubes! I bought some geocel decorators caulk and these tubes are 1cm or so too long! I often buy tools that seem like a good deal, or that id get a load of use out of them or even that they should last me years but more often than not this never seems to be the case so coming from experience with this sort of thing I saw this caulking gun and instantly got interested in buying one, my expecetions were set to low of course. First use with this was just so much better than my sturdy el cheapo metal caulking gun, easy to slot in even though its a bit backwards.. for a second i thought how the heck is the cartridge stuck??? but you load it differently to a normal caulking gun by sliding it in a way that is not considered normal.. the end turns and locks over it, no movement at all which is great. ive had one before and the caulking tube/cartridge has moved slightly at an angle and that caused problems. the real difference you will see is that once you have caulked, it stops. No endless dripping or oozing out of the tip (full of innuendos this review ey?) This is why i bought this and it does this well. not 100% every time mind, you may need to pull back on the handle a bit if it does, but 9 times out of 10 the oozing stops, and it is a much cleaner job with less waste. the gun itself is plastic. not suited for the burly builder that is caulking 10 tubes a day and chucking it around the site, but for most of us it is sturdy enough, ive dropped it and chucked it into a bucket, or thrown it onto a roof and its fine. the plastic trigger is sturdy as well, doesnt feel like its going to give way or snap. i highly recommend this. its a good price too and just that ability to prevent oozing out all over the place when you dont is well worth the price XD

Absolutely fantastic and necessary when caulking. Really just needs slight pressure and gets the job done. I have been using one of the Amazon skeleton guns and it was really painful on the hand as it really needs squeezing a lot. This was a breeze and the difference was noticeably like night and day.

Over the years, I've had a few silicone or caulking guns,I would say this has to be one of the best, it makes the job so much easier. I would highly recommend it.

I had to silicone 8 windows. I did one with my old gun and I almost cried. When I received the Wolfcraft one I finished the job in 30 minutes. The gun feel strong and most important is so smooth and controllable regarding the pressure. I own few items from this company and I never regretted. Highly recommended.

Game changing tool. You will wonder why you didnt buy this years ago.

mi sono trovato molto bene fin da subito. la pistola e' abbastanza robusta pur non essendo in metallo il corpo. molto morbida la staffa di arretramento e sopratutto l'inserimento dello stick di silicone si puo' effettuare in modo facile e comodo. La fuoriuscita del silicone e' regolare e ben dosata con una semplice pressione e sopratutto a differenza della vecchia non fa costantemente uscire silicone , anche quando hai smesso di premere. Si ferma appena alzi la mano . La consiglio vivamente.

Great product. Solid build quality and lightweight. Recommend over those other metal ones that are heavy and not good for long term use.
