The RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and NFC (Near Field Communication) technologies enable contactless data collection from passports, ID cards, credit cards, bank cards, debit cards, check cards, driver's licenses, door lock cards, etc. An RFID/HFC system always consists of: - the data carrier (chip and antenna in a carrier) - the reading device (antenna and decoder) Magnetic or electromagnetic fields are used for data transmission. The frequencies used are LF: 125KHz, HF: 13,56MHz (reading distance: up to 1m) and UHF: 900MHz (read and write access up to 3m). Even if RFID and NFC chips do not send their own signals, unprotected personal data can easily be intercepted without authorization at short distance using freely available reading devices and smartphones. FreeHaveFun chip card sleeves protect your cards like most commercially available protectors from HF (13,56 MHz) and UHF (900MHz) frequencies. - Due to their ultra-flat design, it is recommended to press the card holders on the sides when inserting the card for the first time. - The ebook is in german language.
