Does the nib gradually recede back in the longer you write?

The pen gives a fantastic writing experience. I not sure I understand well the question, it has a steady performance even after a long writing or several years of use. It is the second time a buy this pen, the previous was still functioning perfectly but I wanted to replace because after many years of usage the clip was broken and the pen got few scratches. I am in love with this pen, both the functional and aesthetical part fully cover my everyday, business needs, at a price which is fair.
