Got one as haven't been successful cooking rice lately plus as almost every rice eater I know swears by them thought I'd finally try one.Got it out if the box, it looked good, you just assemble and switch on.Friends get lovely fluffy separate grained result using basmati but every time I did exactly what they say t'was disappointingly sticky.Instructions however very poor. Looked for the timer, oh, not one. Almost missed the on/off switch round the side then wondered why heating switch wouldn't stay down. A bit peeved thusly that the instructions didn't actually explain the basics. The secret is, it relies on the weight of the pot with the water and the rice PLUS the weight of the lid closing it before you can switch it on, in order to activate a pressure switch under the interior pot.Comes up to a full rolling boil, but it is messy as the water spits out the hole in the lid and goes everywhere, edges, handles, countertop so again, annoyingly, there's much more to clean up.I tried initially with the minimum 2 cups water to one cup rice, plus 15 mins on "warm" - it did cook to done but even then I thought it much too sticky.Cleans up easily,
