Well what can I say! This is well worth having and is perfect for my garden. Easy to use and put away, an impressive length of line and well made from a brand we can trust.

UPDATE: Far from disappointed: Almost 3 years to the day (uncanny) since I originally purchased this item - and a repeat order is being placed. My family's washing has finally taken their toll; the thick plastic holding the unit to the metal bracket on the wall has snapped under the stress of some high winds and a heavy load on the line. BUT I am buying the same one again & I would still recommend this product. I have had no issues over the 3 years - the retract mechanism has never failed, and the line itself has worn well. May 2012: I was pleased with the quality of the product when I took it out of the packaging, and my other half had no problems installing it to the outside wall. The hook which it came with has rusted, and did so in a matter of a week or so, which is disappointing. A note to make with the installation is that we used are own wall plugs, simply because my other half doesn't trust "the cheap ones supplied with products". A minor disappointment was the need to purchase a clothes line prop, and without it the line (when ladened with drying clothing) sagged significantly. I would also recommend winding the line around the cleat underneath the unit twice, as with quite strong winds the line gradually pulls out, if you only do it once, and you end up with washing trailling on the floor. Overall though it is a nice product, and it is far easier to retract the line to keep it clean than to have to take a cloth out to wipe the line down everytime(when we get nice enough weather to put washing out that is). It also means there isn't a washing line spoiling the line of sight in the garden or affecting the children when they are playing.

Solid washing line. The fittings are good, the hook is strong, and the casing has been tough and weather-resistant. It’s been left outside for a couple of winters and the retractable mechanism is still working well. The only downside is the red line fades in sunlight and turns a pinky white. But to be fair, it’s a washing line, so doesn't matter too much!

lasted 6 year before the line gave way cracked and stretched worked great till then this is the 3rd I've had in ten years so not bad really .out in all weathers uv snow frost and rain takes its toil good product other wise

Great piece of equipment, recommend it, it is solid and works well. I specially like the 2 lines with retractable mechanism, very stable, and good capacity. I also purchased a couple of poles, needs it.

I bought this washing line to supplement the existing rotary clothes line. I fixed the product to the house and fitted the hook to a garden shed and the line can easily be extended between the two as and when needed. The retractable line housing pivots on its' wall bracket and can be pushed flush to the wall when not in use. Easy to install and use, satisfied so far.

The clutch/brake mechanism is broken on this, so when you hang washing the line just drops. I used another to stop the line from slipping and it is fine now. Easy to install - just 2 screws into a suitable wooden post/fence/shed. The length is long enough for most gardens. Would I buy it again? If the clutch/brake system worked correctly, probably. Otherwise, no. Suitable for longer gardens. If you want to use this to retract every time, as mentioned, the braking system really isn't up to job so it would be a pain to work around that every time. This product could be so much better if they had a clicking type locking system, like a latched cog system. Then if you want retract it, just unlatch it. As it is, it is not really suitable for the purpose. Would I recommend it? As is, no. Should you buy it? No, based on the defect. Get one that works correctly.

This washing line replaced a broken one of a different make. We like that it has a different fixing for the bracket not an all through pin as this is what broke on our previous line. Good quality line and hocks. Easy to fit with the products supplied. It does what it says it should do and that is all we needed.

Das ist die perfekte Wäscheleine! Die mittlerweile mehrfachen Tests hat sie alle mit Bravour bestanden. Bei uns muss sie ca. 10 Meter überbrücken, wir haben mittig einen zusätzlichen Pfosten samt Haken platziert / einbetoniert, über den die Leinen geführt werden, so dass sie recht straff sind und kaum durchhängen. Die "Enden" werden bei uns mit 2 Karabinern einfach in den Gartenzaun eingehängt. Das Fixieren der Leinen an der Seiltrommel ist immer erforderlich, geht aber sehr gut, so dass man die beiden Leinen über eine beliebige Strecke (eben maximal 15 Meter) spannen kann. Auch das Rückführen in die Seiltrommel geht schnell, einfach und absolut ohne Verheddern der beiden Leinen. Und: Die Leinen sind dann "weg", der Garten ist frei von Leinen, diese verschwinden komplett in der Seiltrommel.

De momento, muy contento con la compra. Es un tendedero muy cómodo de usar, se recoge fácilmente gracias al sistema retráctil y queda todo mucho más ordenado cuando no se utiliza. La instalación es sencilla y una vez colocado se ve resistente y estable. Las dos cuerdas ofrecen bastante espacio para tender ropa y, por ahora, cumple perfectamente su función. Una solución muy práctica para ahorrar espacio en casa. Habrá que ver qué tal aguanta con el tiempo, pero las primeras impresiones son muy buenas.
