How long is the length of wire attached?

There are 2 wires at the back, around 11inch(28cm) each. Red for postive and black for negative.

What kind of dimmer is required to dime the lights? i have a 12v dc motor speed controller dimmer and this does not appear to work.

All kinds of 12v dc dimmer can work with these lights. The dimmer should be wired in the main line to these lights. Do they work without the dimmer?

These say they are IP44 but the photos show multiple holes all bigger than 1mm . Are these able to actually withstand humid environments?

Hello, they are IP44. IP44 is the level for dust resistant rather than water(not high enough to withstand humid environment). We suggest using these lights at dry locations. Thanks.
