Follow up after first review, I contacted Aqua Pure to return it under my 1-year warranty and this is what I got: "Since your AquaPure was purchased through Amazon, we are unable to process a refund directly from our end. I recommend contacting Amazon's customer service for assistance with your request. They should be able to provide you with options for a resolution, as they handle all transactions made through their platform.” Neither company would stand by their promise!!I am very surprised by so many glowing reviews of this product. They say how much cleaner and fresher the produce is, how much better it tastes, how much dirt and bacteria the unit removes. I found absolutely no difference in appearance or taste. No dirt in the water like so many claimed. And if someone claims that it removed bacteria, that is simply not true. Remember, you can’t see bacteria so it is impossible to know if it removed any.Most of the positive reviews read like commercials or influencers selling the product. It feels more like a scam. They advertise a 1-year warrantee, but do not allow returns beyond 30 days. It’s been 42 days and Amazon won’t let me return it. And Amazon does not have a way to dispute the 30-day window. Whatever happened to the promised 1-year warrentee?

Works as described

I really love this product. I've been using it since before it became available on Amazon. I feel like it cleans my fruits and veggies and they taste so much better..however, I've had several of them because they have had to be replaced due to it suddenly stopping or it won't charge. The first 2 times I replaced it via customer service since it was under warranty and they really make you provide so much info before they will consider replacing it but they did replace it once and the second I had to buy a new one because they wouldn't replace it dueto it being a couple of days out of warranty. It's just a bit to pricey for me to buy every time it stops working. It rusts easily also. But it works so well it's still my favorite.

Having used this product for just over a year when it conveniently (for the company) simply stopped working just beyond the warranty period, I WILL NOW GIVE MY FINAL ANALYSIS:Cons:1. It gives far fewer cleanings than claimed and takes a very long time to recharge--at least 5 or 6 hours, though I never timed it exactly.2. The company (supposedly manufactured in Norway) gives NO WAY to contact them despite their assurances of replacement or free servicing within the warranty period, and even Amazon could not provide any info on how to contact the company. They have no web presence that I could find. These are all RED FLAGS in my estimation.3. There never was any visible evidence or way to know if it did what it was supposed to do--remove toxic pesticides, etc from fruits and vegetables.Pros:It was easy to use and provided convincing advertisement/information that it was effective.BOTTOM LINE: DON'T SPEND THE MONEY ON A FANCY GADGET THAT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO ITS CLAIMS AND HYPE.

I'm not sure if this device does what is claimed - removal of pesticides and killing some bacteria or virus. Some tiny bubbles emanate during operation, but they dissipate quickly. I have used it on fruits and vegetables and will continue to do so, but since I have no way to determine if there are contaminants on the items, or if they are neutralized afterward I am using it on faith and hope.

Works very well on apple to remove the wax. Do see a difference in any other produce

I purchased this product with the highest of hopes and was very disappointed and frustrated when it stopped working! I followed the directions completely but the cleaner only worked for 1 1/2 months and then quit! When I was able to get it to work the fruits were cleaned nicely and did last quite a bit longer and were much better tasting. I was very pleased but then it stopped working and didn’t do anything. I hate to pay this price and not be able to use it and believe me I don’t have $75 to throw around! Very disappointing!

I highly recommend this plus i had to deal with the manufacturer and they were superb!

we love this product but it has become increasingly difficult to charge. The magnetic charging part sticks to it but it doesn’t charge properly. We have to wiggle it around or turn it on it’s side before it starts to charge. I am expecting it to no charge at all soon. When we first bought it, it charged with no problems. What to do? It’s past the return date.

First time the item worked: bubbles coming out and effectively cleaning.Second time: no bubbles at all. Twisted and tightened the electrolytes as said on instructions but nothing changing. Returning the product and buying a new one. Maybe we were just unlucky. We’ll see. Tried to contact the seller but no chance.

Does not remove any gunk and does not appear to do its job. We didnt return in time and now we are stuck with a useless product that is overpriced.

I saw no debris in the wash water. $100 - waste of money
