Evapo-Rust® - 1 Litre - Water-based Selective Rust Remover for Iron, Steel, Cast Iron and Chrome

Really impressed with this, thought I would have to soak the wheel and then scrub for ages but that wasn't the case. Soaked two heavily (really heavily) rusted chrome plated bike wheels in the solution overnight (used a narrow plastic tray to get the liquid to cover the rims) and when i returned in the morning the section that was submerged had no rust at all on it.

Used it on old rusted motorbike parts and works like a charm

Did what it claimed and was very effective

Used on stove top, it got rid of the rust easily even though i couldn't soak it properly

Perfect for what I needed it for

I bought this product to remove rust spots on a music box comb, after using it over a 3 day period checking it intermittently it has still got the rust spots ,and discoloured the metal so it has not worked very disappointed with it

Unfortunately left my etching press unprotected over the winter and the roller was covered in rust. Needed to remove gently so as not to damage the roller and with a bit of patience, a soft scouring washing up pad (very soft) it removed all the rust with no damage whatsoever. SO PLEASED. No harmful odours etc as water based. Just remember if you cannot leave item in a bath of the solution just dont let solution dry out on metal. Keep gently applying and it will lift off onto pad or soft cloth. Then I just gave it a light spray with wd40 to protect surface and will remember to protect when not in use. A***
