Missing pieces and need multiple sets
We bought this for our son for Christmas and he likes it and plays with it, but although it probably does have the number of pieces it says, most of them are tiny pieces that you can't do much with unless you have more of the big pieces than are provided. In addition, my son said that, according to the instruction manual, several pieces were missing from the set. I think the only way he can get the most out of this is to buy multiple sets.

All the sets are different sizes so the interchangeability between sets is not possible.
Great Toy, but all sets are different sizes so the interchangeability between the sets is not possible.So if you loose pieces (and let's face it, if the dog doesnt swallow them then you children WILL loose them), then some of the designs can no longer be made.This is sad because you have to buy the same set again in order to make the models again.Great for the manufacturer of course! But not so great for the buyer.

Great Product, great price.
Brought for a present, arrived on time and intact. Great gift for the price. Great brand loved by many kids, so can't really go wrong. The box was very sturdy.

K-Nex is a great alternative for him
Fabulous toys. My son (6 years old) is a Lego lover, K-Nex is a great alternative for him. It comes with an instruction with lots of ideas of 2D or 3D models. Moreover it's amazing to make own projects and developing the imagination. My son received it as one of Christmas gifts and is playing with it EVERY day!He makes bridges, clocks, guns, spinners... depending of his mood and time. The box is very useful, the models can be kept inside.The only one not perfect thing is, that during the disconnecting, we have broken 3 little elements of the white connectors, however it happened on the first day of playing with K-nex, when we haven't been enough gentle.5 stars from me.

Good for improving fine motor and social skills
Bought for an after school club, the children absolutely love it. It is great for getting the children to interact with all age groups and working together as a team. The box is much bigger than the amount of K'nex you actually get, but that is a bonus if you have another K'nex set that you can put in there.

Not great.
Bought for my 6 year old son. It’s Pretty complicated for an young child and the instructions aren’t great. I would buy again. Better off with Lego.

Think he will love it though
Havent used yet as Xmas present for my grandson who is 6.Think he will love it though.Good size box with plenty of pieces in to keep him entertained for a while.
