If you’re reading this - lucky you. There’s nothing wrong with this product. It fits well even though (at the time of purchase) the advert stated that it only fits a couple of pumps - Sp3 & sp5? I understand this fits the whole range. I bought it for Sp1 and fits perfectly. What annoys me - is the blatant cash grab from karcher. If you’re using a dirt pump - surely you need some form of filter, the clue is in the name of the product. Further - between this and buying the hose reduced to fit normal size pipe - you’ve added £35 to an already expensive pump for about 25p of plastic

Didnt really need it, found pump performance greatly affected when fitted.

Pumpe saugt leise und zuverlässig bis fast wischtrocken. Saugleistung natürlich von Pumphöhe abhängig. Auch die ausklappbaren Standfüße für Schmutzwasser sind praktisch. Das gepumpte Wasser wird zuverlässig mit dem Zusatzartikel "Kärcher 6.997-359.0 Anschluss (geeignet fuer Saugschlauch 3/4 Zoll+ 1 Zoll)" am Zurückfließen verhindert. (Saugschlauch sollte besser in der Beschreibung - Pumpschlauch heißen) Die Aufschrift "UP" des Rückflußventills muß zur Schlauchseite zeigen. Auch der Vorfilter, auch Zusatzartikel -"Kärcher 2.997-201.0 Vorfilter (geeignet für Tauchpumpen, klein)" -ist sinnvoll. Verhindert schnelles Zusetzen direkt am Pumpeneinlauf beim Pumpen mit kleinen Schmutzteilchen 5mm. Automatische Pumpenentlüftung funktioniert auch tadellos. Habe alles zusammengebaut mit einer 5cm langen Wasserhahnverlängerung 1 Zoll. Das Rückschlagventil sitzt zuverlässig fest in der Schnellkupplung 1Zoll. So ist der Pumpendurchlaß durchgängig mit größtmöglichem Querschnitt 1 Zoll ! direkt am Pumpenanschluß. Das erhöht die Pumpleistung, an Stelle von einer 1/2" Einengung gleich am Pumpenanschluß. Als Schlauch habe ich einen Spiralschlauch Ø 25mm (ca. 3/4") gewählt. Mehr Querschnitt geht leider nicht. Wenn man mehr Zeit zum Pumpen hat tut es natürlich auch ein 1/2 Zoll Anschluß. Fazit: Klein, handlich, für Klar-und Schmutzwasser (5mm). Für meine Anwendungsbereiche aber erst perfekt durch die Zusatzartikel, auch wenn diese Zusatzartikel überteuert sind. .

S’adapte parfaitement à ma pompe Kärcher SP5. Montage très simple.
