Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick 19 Jolie-De-Vin Reds, 6.7ml

I love this

Loved this lipstick so much I made my sister buy one. It suits my tan skin tone perfectly. I would say my skin colour is dark tan, shade Honey 5 in Bobby Brown, like mixed raced or asian skin colour if that helps anyone. I did find it a tiny bit drying as the day wore on but if you put a good moisturising lip balm on you should be fine. It lasts hours even though meals. Of course you might need to reapply here and there but thats ok, not a miracle product. It gives a matt reddish maroon finish. I will put up a swatch once i get the chance (busy mum of toddlers) but I have to say its made me feel sexy lol which isn't easy when you're a mum of toddlers!

The Formula is great! It doesn’t feel sticky, or overly creamy so that it smudges, and the applicator is great. It’s small, which is odd, as nowadays applicators are huge in order to appeal to customers as they hold more product. This is the issue with Maybelline’s liquid lip because it holds so much product and the sides get messy. But not with this one, and as it doesn’t hold a great deal of product it means you can apply a lighter layer. The formula is much better than NYX and Maybelline. The only issue I have is with Amazons option to see the colour on with someone of a similar skin tone. I tried it, and it looked great on the model, almost like a nude on her. But on me it looked so bright and just looked very bad. I think they need to sort that out. But, I would definitely buy another colour because the formula is great, but just be wary or using that try on option.

This goes on really smooth and gives you a nice flat matte finish; it’s well pigmented so you only need a thin layer. It has a bit of a powdery feel to it but doesn’t feel overly drying. It’s smudge-proof (no marks on my tea cup) but not as long-lasting as I’d hoped (I have to reapply every few hours). It’s also got a very strong taste / smell to it that I didn’t like at all (reminds me of wall paint). I got the CAFE OLE - it’s not the truffle / greyish-nude shade depicted everywhere but rather, a warm-nude / light brown sort of shade that looks like a lot of other lipsticks I own. Unremarkable. Would I get this again? — only in another shade, IF I really loved the colour. I think there are better options; the MAYBELLINE VINYL INK lipsticks for example have a more moisturising and comfortable feel, are more long-lasting, very attractively packaged and they have no off-putting smell or taste.

Colour Nice But it Has An Absoultly Dreadful Smell So Strong I Can't Even wear it So It Was A Waste of money !!. I Will Say I was Shocked As Bourjois Is Usually A Good Company & I Had Another liquid Lipstick & That Didn't Have An Awful Smell, So maybe It was A Bad One or been Opened & Went out of Date, I'm Not Sure!! Very poor Quality Because of The Smell of the product

Ich habe die Farbe 07 Bestellt und es ist ein Nude/Dusty Rosa-Ton und passt zu meiner hellen, rosafarbenen Haut. . Die Größe ist Ideal und passt in jede Handtasche. Für den Alltag, Arbeit oder Uni perfekt. Geruch: Der Geruch erinnert an einen typischen "Lippenstift" Geruch, der mir nicht wirklich zusagt, aber das ist schließlich Geschmacksache. Tragbarkeit: Es ist auf den Lippen kaum spürbar. Zudem ist es nicht Kussfest, jedoch bleibt genug Farbe auf dem Lippen, sodass man das Produkt nicht neu auftragen muss. Textur: Es fühlt sich an, wie der Name des Lippenstiftes, Velvet bzw. luftig/Seidig an. Auf den Lippen sieht es fast schon Airbrushed aus. Ich würde die Farbe und den Lippenstift weiterempfehlen, nur bin ich nicht der allergrößte Fan von dem Geruch, den Geruchs-los wäre natürlich am Idealsten gewesen. Nichtsdestotrotz, für den Preis ein schöner Liquid Lipstick.
