Wish I had discovered these sooner!
These lids are the best idea to come along for storing anything in a 5 gallon bucket! They fit tight, are very strong, seal extremely well and are so very easy to use. We use all our old 5 gallon buckets now with these replacement lids, one for bird seed, another for pet food, another for fertilizer for our vegetable garden and so on... absolutely no leaks or dampness gets in and they are very strong. I like that you can get them in different colors so you can color code what is in which bucket. They look great too!

Takes some effort to get the outer ring to seat but that's a one time problem, love how easy it is to get in my bucket now

Good functionality
Worked great as an add to a 5 gallon bucket that I now am using for dog food. Seals nicely and is easy to open and close… turns any bucket into a sealed container…

Great, affordable accessory to make your buckets more versatile
I've bought several of these over the years because I just keep finding more uses for them! The first one was for cleaning up after my dog, so I could just keep the waste sealed and every week throw out one big bag instead of wasting a few a week. The second I got was to store dried 3D printer filament. When I dry it I'll keep it in the bucket with some dessicant until I'm ready to use it and it does a great job keeping out moisture. My third was for salting my driveway in the winter. Keeping the bag in my garage would result in a large hard block of salt. This keeps it loose and dry. My brother keeps dog food fresh in one of these, there are so many great uses for them.

Great idea, nearly perfect product.
Excellent concept, and a product that really answers a need. I already have a couple, and I use them on Home Depot buckets to store grain and feed for my chickens when I buy a 50 lb sack, so the rats and mice can't get to it. Only two things that are sort of a PITA. It is difficult to apply the base ring. I have to use a heavy leather mallet to get it seated properly on the bucket rim. Also it is easy to crossthreat the removable lid. Minor irritations only, but they prevent this very good product from being a perfect one. I just ordered another and if I need still more, I will order them.

A tried & true product…
We’ve purchased these before over the years, from another company..but same product. These are especially good to have if you have a lot of these 5 gallon plastic buckets, as we do. The lids that these buckets are sealed with are not really good to use after they’re opened, so here’s where the Gama lid comes in. It’s very easy to put it on the bucket, you need a rubber mallet, of just a hammer if you’re careful not to hit too hard. You just kinda pound the ring-part onto the top of the open bucket, it just “seats it” , and then the center part just screws in , easy/peasy. This is primarily for dry stuff, in your bucket, that is….we put dry dog food, dry rice, dried beans, etc. in it. As i said, we’ve used these for years…they do last a long time. One little tip though, do not think that you can remove the Gama lid outer ring thing , once you’ve pounded it on-its nearly impossible to remove it once you’ve put it on, so be sure where you want it…though the center”ring” part that screws on & off- that can be used again on any other Gama lid outer ring- hope that was clear, and i do hope i helped you decide if you want to order these. Cheers to you !

GREAT Lids!!!
I love everything about these... they are "Food Grade" 90 mils strong... Then combine them with the FANTASTIC very well made Hudson Exchange 5 Gallon Buckets with their Bottom Grip Handle and HDPE. It makes it a snap to dump out 5 gallons of car wash material. Then I also added Grit Guards & the Grit Guard Washboards even with the indentation of the bottom handle intruding into the bottom inside of these buckets. But anyway... the Grit Guards hover a lil' bit further above the bottom. Which I personally like how they hover a lil' further above the bottom!!! Plus, the Gamma2 Seal Lids fit like a glove (which the Gamma 2's take some good hand strength to install but it's worth it to keep dust out of the buckets between washes). So now I have basically made "custom" color coordinated buckets for my own personal auto detailing... and we will be buying more of these for my wife... along with the sold separately Snappy Grip handles that I also installed. Well I hope this might perhaps be helpful to others out there! 😇

Keeps moisture out of my buckets of plaster
I needed a lid system that would keep moisture out of buckets of pottery plaster & this does the job. It's a bit tough to install (a rubber mallet will help immensely), but once it's on, it's a great seal. I can see why fellow potters recommend a lid system like this...it's well worth the price. I've picked up a second one in a different color so I can keep track of which bucket is currently in use.
