I love these Derwent watercolor pencils. They feel creamy in texture and wonderful to draw with. I've used so many brands of pencils over the years but Derwent for me feels like the best quality to use. It's wonderful to apply water to the drawing and they are so versatile for the way you draw/paint with it. I will always come back to these watercolor pencils, great shades and quality, they're the best to draw with, I have found.

Much more control using these pencils with my watercolour brushes than using the paints, nice colours as well

Nice colour range, which correspond to many of Derwent's Artists (water resistant) pencils. I like the simple numbering system on them (1-72 !!) Also, they are named.. The colours are not as intense as Derwent's Intense pencils - but that is what I wanted, as they seem more realistic for landscapes. Colours mix nicely. They crumble a little bit when using them, but that doesn't bother me. Nice to use wet or dry and you can wet them again after drying if you wish. Nice tin, though plastic inserts holding the pencils are a bit thin and 2 corners have already broken. Good set to take out. I am enjoying using them.

I purchased a small pack of these watercolour pencils earlier in the year for my dad. He loved them and has kickstarted him back with his artwork. He does not have the hassle of getting all the paints out and can pick them up and put them down without any hassle. This large box is great. The quality is wonderful and its good to have such a wide selection of colours to choose from. A good buy and I'm sure it will bring many hours fun.

Already having a few inktense pencils, I found gaps in the colour range. So pleased with this box of 72 as I can now access far more colours and blend others in a new way. Fully recommended for all those who work with textiles or artists materials. Certainly a good value box. It opens up a whole new range of possiblities.

The pencils come in a strong tin. There is a good selection of colours which can be blended to make other colours or tints. The colour is very bright when water is added. I am very pleased with the set. Much easier to use outdoors than water colour paint - just use a water brush to blend the colours.

The package came damaged and not well protected (not the sellers fault) and as these are soft core I didn't want any of the inside to be broken. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement that was really well packaged and came perfect. The pencils themselves are a massive step up in the quality I've used before and if you use them professionally or for doll repaints I would highly recommend.

Purched at 50% discount. Pakage was slightly damaged so are the pencils. But not much as they are water soluble even broken core can be used . Pencils are not best quality but lighfast. Plz use nice sharpener if you buy these. Layers well. Can be used as dry media. Nice colour range. Loved the tin. I repurposed the tin as my Watercolor palette though. Was happy with my purchase
