MiniSun Modern Designer Retro Persia Wood Veneer Round Stepped Drum Ceiling Pendant Light Shade

I really love this light shade ❤️. I’m in the process of overhauling a new home and this shade perfectly captures the tone of my intended new look for the living room.I wanted a shade which was modern, architectural and would provide an aura of peace, stillness and calm. I will be coordinating with neutrals, wall slats an inset gas fire and upright slate grey radiators in a minimalist setting.Like another buyer (nice work ‘kadoodles’ - you trend setter you 😍) I have also chosen to paint the upright supports black and installed a black ceiling rose to co-ordinate further.The laminated bands which form the sides of the shade were a teensy bit fiddly to fit but once I worked out I could curve them ever so slightly to fit them into the slots, it wasn’t so bad.The inside of the laminated bands are shiny (I wondered if they had a coating on which needed to be removed at first before realising this would be on the inside facing the bulb).*Note on installing* There is a plastic ring adapter which is designed for hanging the shade with Bayonet Cap pendant lamps rather than with Edison (screw) bulbs. However, I have an E27 (screw) fitting pendant and found I DID actually need the plastic ring adapter. Not an issue - just don’t spend your time scratching your head thinking you shouldn’t need the adapter ring when you may actually need it after all - it’ll depend on your particular pendant.If you are considering buying this shade, there are no surprises. What you see in the sellers pictures is exactly what you get and I love mine! 😁

Looks nice once built. Building it can be fiddly like others have mentioned. I would just read the instructions and get the right slats in the right place first time and you will be fine.

I was a bit 😳 when this arrived flat packed and it was a little fiddly to put together. But this is a surprisingly lovely shade, really well designed, and looks hugely more expensive than it is. Great quality and value for money. I may just buy some more.

I really enjoyed the assembly, it's very easy. you just have to be careful not to chip/bend the edges when slotting them in.I ordered a matching pair to re-vamp my hallway and i'm really happy with how they look.I also like how each one is different due to the natural variation in the wood veneer grain.They are very light, very easy to install and look pretty high-end especially for the price.When the packages arrived they were very small and I had doubts and thought they wouldn't be as large as I was hoping but once assembled they are a really good size.Very happy with them :)

Looks great when up but whoever has given this 5 stars has the patience of a saint. Fiddly to put together!

I felt the neutral colour on wood didn't make them stand out enough. So painted them black to look more Japanese.

Slightly fiddly to put together, but looks really nice one up! Looks nicer with a less bright bulb. Good for a scandi looking interior!

Read the reviews, ordered it and I'm not disappointed at all.Although I think it might be a little small for the space I have it in at the minute, its a lovely light shade and well worth the money. Easy to put together too

Aunque me la imaginaba algo mayor...

Die Lampe lässt sich mit ein paar Handgriffen gut und einfach zusammen bauen. Wenn man die Anleitung beachtet und jeweils das zweite Teil hinter dem ersten Teil einsetzt (also auf der Innenseite) geht es recht flott voran. Die Lampe macht ein angenehmes gelblich warmes Licht. Zusammen mit einer kupferfarbenen Lampenfassung aus einem schwedischen Möbelhaus schaut das Ganze dann richtig edel aus.

L'abat jour est constitué de six parties en MDF découpées au laser, ainsi que les parties circulaires avec une texture bois thermocollée. Le tout arrive à plat dans des sachets plastique, le montage est assez simple et ne prend pas plus de 5-10 min.Le résultat est vraiment convaincant, le rendu bois est suffisamment réaliste pour être crédible. En plus, pour le prix (34.99€ quand je l'ai acheté), c'est vraiment intéressant. A recommander.

Mir gefällt der Lampenschirm sehr gut. Ich fand das Zusammenstecken recht simpel, auch wenn ich anfangs von den vielen Teilen etwas erschlagen war. Schlussendlich hat der Zusammenbau max. 15 min. gedauert. Der Lampenschirm macht ein schönes warmes Licht. Ich hätte ihn mir nur etwas größer gewünscht.
