We ended up losing our original stopper that came as part of a kit so we got these. We like our wine and these things are great for preserving a bottle of red for around a week or so. Definitely recommend these to red wine lovers, if you manage not to finish a bottle at the weekend, and don't drink through the week these are invaluable.

Due to my misunderstanding of how this product is used I was tempted to return as not suitable. The image shows what I mistook to be a built in pump mechanism that could be thumb operated as I had not realised they require the Wine saver pump. Having bought these at an Amazon special price I have decide to keep them and have purchased the pump as well. My review is thus based on the quality of this item (not the pump) and the fact they can, alone, be used as bottle corks. My advice if you have not used these before is to buy the pump first as they come with one or more stoppers and THEN buy these stoppers if you have a habit of opening more than one bottle at a time or worse have a habit of losing things between the bottle and the sink for rinsing/washing of these items.

Bought as replacements and extras for my vacuvin. They fit snug, are reasonably priced and keep my wine tasting fresh for 1 week plus. Easy to use and made of sturdy rubber.

For the odd occasion when this is actually necessary, they are great, but not used often due to my heavy handed pouring of measures! I would recommend to all! Really great for keeping wine fresh once opened when used with the pump

Purchased following a friends recommendation and they bought us the vacuvin. Love this product as not huge wine drinkers, like a glass with a meal so these are perfect for keeping wine airtight and lasting longer. We just had to buy this extra set. It may enable us to have multiple bottles open at the same tome if we fancy a change which is great. No more feeling bad for opening a bottle for the sake of one person. Great little gadget.

Il Vacu Vin è probabilmente il sistema di conservazione vino sottovuoto più diffuso al mondo, e per una buona ragione: funziona bene, sempre. Questo set comprende la celebre pompa manuale e 4 o più tappi in gomma alimentare lavabile in lavastoviglie, compatibili con la maggior parte delle bottiglie di vino (esclusi gli spumanti). Utilizzarlo è semplice: si inserisce il tappo, si pompa alcune volte fino al classico click di tenuta e il gioco è fatto. L’ossigeno viene estratto dalla bottiglia, rallentando l’ossidazione e mantenendo intatti aromi e profumi fino a 7 giorni. E per i più distratti? I tappi hanno rotellina data integrata per ricordare il giorno dell'apertura.
