High quality little vice
Superb little vice, reassuringly heavy for its size and extremely easy to manoeuvre. It can be used with or without the table clamp and so far, I didn't need to use the clamp at all. I use it mainly for soldering metal and it is of great help to me.I bough in the past a Silverline vice which I never used in the end because it was very difficult to change the position of the body to the required angle for my work - a very frustrating vice which ended up somewhere in my loft. Then I bought the Stanley but I could see straight away that the clamp for the table will break in no time and the jaws were not aligned properly so I returned it immediately. Finally, I decided to buy this one, despite the price and I could not recommend it enough. It is in a completely different league compared to the other two vices I had. Looking at the quality, the price paid no longer seems so steep.

Very solid, versatile and easy to use.
Within 2 minutes of being delivered the vice was clamped to my work desk and being used. It is very well built. The ball joint is solid and locks with only a gentle tightening of the clamp. This really is top quality kit from Proxxon.

Good little Vice
Ideal for those little jobs. Jaws shut in line and rubber covers very useful. Quality is good as expected from Proxxon but price on the high side. You get what you pay for

Versatile, quality vice
This vice was worth every penny, sturdy, robust with an incredible wide range of angles for all sorts of hobbies. The ball and socket secure really well when fixed in place as well as the jaws.

Not had it long so not sure about durability however it seems solid and well made so I am very happy.

Handy Item With Good Options
Nice heavy base which means for light tasks it doesn't need to be fixed to a bench/desk/table. Nice to have the option to clamp it to a desk, or bolt it down to a workbench.
