This stuff is amazing, we have 4 Alsatians and sofa looked like it needed to go in the bin, but after applying this stuff the sofa looks nearly new, i added a beeswax coat after, just looks amazing..... nearly spent 2K on a new one, but it only cost me £40! The Sofa had deep scratches but this covered them all up, Deep scratches will take a couple of coats, dry's in about 10 mins.. well happy...

When I bought this for my worn car seats I wasn't expecting too much especially on vinyl.Once I managed to cut the foil protective seal out of the pot I was ready to start.What can I say, this cream transformed my worn, tired car seats to like new condition.Personally from experience I wouldn't bother with the small flat sponges again as the disintegrate pretty quickly. I had to resort to cutting the rectangular sponge in 4 thinner rounds instead.Make sure you to this before starting as the cream is quite liquid and messy.Also glove up. Medical latex gloves are the best option for this. Also I put masking tape separating the vinyl area from the material middle as it would be easy to get it on the cloth being as it's quite runny.My car seats look like showroom condition now. So all in all I give it 10 out of 10.Loads of cream left for future touch ups,so good value for your money.It does say that you can dry it faster with a hair dryer, but in a 3rd floor flat this was not an option for me.I picked a nice warm sunny day instead and left it overnight. I would definitely buy this again and recommended it to my cousin who has the same issue with her seats.

It’s not as dark as I wanted so bought a black one and mixed it. Does the job really well. Easy to use.

Was super impressed with this product - goes on so well, and looks quite miraculous..! It dries quickly and doesn’t leave any marks residue or smell after a quick buff with kitchen roll - fabulous! My old sofa looks brand new ..! See before and after cushions in photo

I bought a second hand sofa and two chairs in brown leather. They were quite worn but did not have any major cracks, and since they were cheap I decided to try this balm.It worked incredibly well. The colour improved so much and the furniture looks far better now. It really refreshed the appearance and made them look much more cared for. I am very impressed with the result.

Not completely worked on chair.

The arm of my husbands La z boy recliner chair had a few scratches and a patch on one arm where the dark brown leather had completely worn off showing the more orange layer underneath.We had considered buying a new chair, but good recliners are expensive, so I thought for a few £’s it got to worth a go at coving the damaged areas.I ordered this STARTSO WORLD Leather-Recoloring-Balm-Repair-Cream-Kit, not really expecting too much, as with a lot of stuff claiming to be a cure for many issues.However, I applied it this morning with the sponge applicator, dried with my hairdryer and applied a 2nd coat, again drying with the hairdryer. I’m amazed - it works, and perfect match for the dark brown leather.You would need to look really closely to see where the patch was.I also had to apply to the underside arm where even the 2 nd layer of leather had worn away, obviously through constant use when getting out of the chair. So here if anyone looked closely some damaged to this is apparent, but colour matches perfectly, also it’s not in the least obvious unless you get down to look under the arm.All in all I would give more than 5 * if possible. I’m not a patient person at all so when doing these jobs I want to achieve a good result quickly, and I certainly did that.I hope anyone else using this had a good as a result as I have.

Having had leather sofas and car seats for a very long time.There are go to products that I always use.Occasionally try something new and sometimes be supprised by a product.This is not the case with this. Its is an absolute waste for money to use not leather its not compatible. Plastic it does work ok but washes off.

Al though this dye does cover up the faded areas. Its application is not the easiest and the finished quality is pretty rough. As suggested by other reviews, you’d probably still need a conditioner to smoothen the finishing so as to reduce the patchiness. Thankfully Amazon has a great return policy and I managed to return it!!

Super happy, we’ve only applied so far. Waiting for it to dry. But the results are incredible. Saves a lot of money buying a new couch!Stoked.

I know my before and after pics aren’t the best but I figured any picture is helpful when you’re sifting through product reviews.Relevant background: My car is a 2006 with full leather interior (so I have not tried this product on vinyl) that i’ve owned since 2017 and all this time, I thought my interior was originally dark grey. Well, when my cat peed on me and my drivers seat and cleaning it notably faded part of the seat, I went looking for a color matched leather recoloring product and found out that there IS NO grey leather in my model and year, it was just faded to grey by the time I got it in 2017. So clearly I was working with pretty badly faded leather when I applied this balm.Amount used: I used it on several types of leather finishes as you can see in my car, some were more absorbent than others. I did all 4 doors, front and back of all my seats, headrests, my leather dash and glove compartment, and a handful of other leather trim pieces. Some of these parts I did two coats on as some were more faded than others. I did the entire drivers seat, front passenger seat, center console, 3 of the doors, and a few other spots here and there twice. The rest I did once. This used up almost exactly the amount in one container. Perfect amount for a car with an absurd amount of leather and a ton of fading.Application method: I tested several application methods with different tools and motions and the one that produced the best, darkest and most even coloring was using the yellow round sponge that comes with it in a buffing motion while applying light pressure, kind of massaging it into the leather. This was true for all the different leather styles in my car. For spots that had damage (scrapes, tears, extra deep wrinkles), it worked best to use the edge of the yellow sponge to press it into the indented area then rub it in around the area without rubbing over top of the damage. It’s not a filler and if I were to do it properly, I’d have used a filler, but I just wanted to diminish the appearance of my damaged spots and this was effective for that.Results: after finishing, it looked great but became very matte and felt dry to the touch after 2-3 days. I used a wax and solvent based leather conditioner (I make it myself but Montana pitch blend is very similar to what I made and used) over top to put the moisture back in the leather and provide a light sealant, as it’s obvious the factory sealant wore off like a decade ago. After applying that, it looks and feels great and is holding up! I would plan on using a conditioner like this a few days after the balm. Another thing I noticed before I used the conditioner was that, while it didn’t transfer to my clothes even in the rain, black did come off onto my cloth when I used a leather cleaner on it 5 days after applying. This is part of the reason I decided a conditioner with beeswax would be the best option. Since applying that, the black has not come off at all when cleaning.Down time: i found that 8 hours was enough for it to completely dry/absorb and be impervious to rain and not transfer onto clothes or skin. I did not check it any sooner than 8 hours, as I did each round of application at night when I was done driving for the day and checked it when I got up, so it’s possible that it could be good to go in less than 8 hours. I did notice color changes over the course of the 3 days after each application. The pieces that were in the best condition became more even, any sponge marks I left behind melted away. The pieces that were most damaged became less even, as the driest parts absorbed more of the colorant and became lighter than other parts. I would definitely recommend waiting at least 3 days before applying a second layer so that you can really tell what you’re working with. Then, again, would recommend waiting at least 3 days before cleaning the leather or applying a conditioner or sealant, because the color changes indicate that it’s not fully absorbed and at its final state until 3 days have passed.All in all, I am very happy with this product and my car looks amazing!
