Bloccs Waterproof Child Leg Cast Cover for Shower, Bathing & Swimming - Plaster Cast, Dressing & Bandage Protector - CL78-L - Child Leg (Large)

I know it was a kid full leg size, however, according to the measurements, it was actually perfect as a half leg protector for a slim long legged adult female as well. I tried after Limbo protector's water accident (shower water came in to both Limbo half adult leg regular size and even Limbo slim size for UK 10) although it was NHS recommendation, however, this protector was the life saving! The material reminds me of a swimming cap and it was very soft, flexible, non-slip and waterproof. I remembered that my hair has got steamed inside of a swimming cap with own sweat steam before, so I wrapped my synth cast by a towel and then covered with this protector, so no holes by sharp edges even after a month of use and it was also very comfy as the towel kept inside dry. Also, when I raised and rested the cast on the bathtub edge, it was non slip like a yoga mat and cushioned by the towel, so it was very comfy and lying down in a bathtub and taking bath or shower relaxing was possible when I felt my ankle fracture got swollen to sit on a shower stool... less pain and less risk of blood clots by the raising. With this relaxing idea, my bones healed quicker than GP's estimation. I thank for this great product and I appreciated for detailed measurements of actual diameter and length in the listing that was very helpful. Absolutely amazing product! Relaxing bath time promoted good sleep and quick healing in my case.

I don't usually write review's but as a parent who's 10 year old son has broken his Tibia & Fibula I urgently needed a product that would help keep his full length cast dry when in the shower. This product not only did the job in the shower, it worked perfectly well in the bath too, it's been an absolute godsend believe me. The Cast cover is easy to get on and off and protects the cast extremely well (Bone dry even after 2 hours in a paddling pool with friends) the only complaint was that it becomes a little uncomfortable after wearing for prolonged periods. So if you are a parent who's child has unfortunately broken a limb (I feel for you) this product is exactly what you are looking for, I can't recommend this highly enough. My 9 year old boy broke his left wrist & right ankle. Needed a half length cast on his wrist & full length on the ankle. He's a very tall, muscular kid, so almost went for the next size up, but his dimensions were right for up to 9 years. Wrist BLOCCS worked immaculately; ankle would let some water in if he spent a long time in the pool & got really active in it. Totally solved it with a single wrap of vet wrap (stuff that only sticks to itself) & one layer of duck tape on the outside of that. Worked like a dream after that. Boy couldn't help stuffing them on concrete at the pool & they withstood all that. He moaned about the leg cast getting sweaty in hot baths, but to be expected.

This is a great product for plaster cast or bandages on leg wounds,you can get the same product for your arm.

Absolutely brilliant. Was dubious as its only the strength of the rubber that seals it but it doesn’t leak a bit. Perfect for my sons full leg cast in the bath

My daughter got her cast wet twice whilst wearing this product and had to get a new cast both times - she's 4 years old and by slightly touching the 'seal' at the top of the cover meant that her leg got flooded with water in the bath. Sadly for the price of it, I wouldn't recommend.

This product went beyond out expectations. It was brought for our daughter who was I a full cast for five weeks, in that time we have been on holiday and this has protected her leg from the water and the sand. She was even able to body board with it on and her cast remained dry

Nachdem unser Sohn (4. Jahre) sich den Oberschenkelknochen angebrochen hat und das ganze Bein eingegipst wurde, haben wir uns den Kopf zerbrochen wie wir das bei über 30 Grad machen sollen. Dem Kind sagen er darf nicht Baden? Oma wohnt an einem See, das wäre furchtbar gewesen. Auf der Suche nach irgendwas um das Bein zu schützen, stieß ich auf diesen Artikel. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Seit über einer Woche baden wir nun damit im See. Kies wohlgemerkt. Mein Sohn ist 4. und läuft damit im Wasser rum. Nachdem ersten mal waren wir sofort begeistert als wir feststellen konnten das alles trocken geblieben ist. Und bis heute, hält das an. Etwas über eine Woche müssen wir noch und sind froh den "Strumpf" zu haben. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. Super einfach anzuziehen (auch allein) und hält was es verspricht. Mein Kind ist glücklich.

Worked wonderful in the water with my swimmers Broken leg, recommend for anyone that has a swimmer who still needs to get training in.
