Unparalleled functionality for an unbeatable price.
There aren't a lot of good wireless non-in-ears in general and this product exemplifies what's good about the form factor. The squeeze functionality works a lot better than the touch functionality of other buds, and the open nature doesn't block any noise at all when noise canceling is off. Furthermore are very lightweight, breathable, and comfortable and can stay in your ears for hours without discomfort even if you have sensitive ears. The sound quality is good. Just baseline good. Which is fantastic for this form factor and price. In terms of frequency response. I recommend turning the sub bass up in the app's equalizer to get a more neutral sound, as otherwise the lower end is very weak. But with it turned up it is, indeed, quite neutral, which is not something you can always expect from an non-sealed, open air earbud. Highs and mids are already very nicely balanced and can be eq'd to adjust to your sensitivities (I often have to lower certain high frequencies so my ears don't hurt). It's a very nice sound profile, just not the most detailed in terms of quality. Soundstage is small, which is basically unavoidable with earbuds in general. It will still treat your music nicely. Noise cancellation is adequate for many use cases, but it isn't great. It is entirely active, so your battery life will take a small hit when it's on. It effectively lowers droning hums, and loud restaurants are a bit quieter, although people very close to you will sound thinner and not really much quieter, which could actually be a good thing for conversations. Unfortunately, it absolutely hates wind, so don't keep the noise cancellation on when running or outside on a windy day. Although if you are in a windy city perhaps you should keep your ears open for cars instead of having noise cancelling on (the open-air nature of the earphones make it ideal to listen out for cars and bikes anyway). If you are in a windy place without traffic, then you probably don't need to noise canceling anyway, so it's not the biggest downside. One weird thing is that you have to install an alternate firmware in the app to activate the noise cancelling feature, but once you do that you can leave it installed and it will work with any device. Latency for most devices is alright for current standards. It's not as bad as some other earphones. Of course, there will be no issue with videos and music. Only games will be affected by the latency, as is normal. Still annoyingly high, but you can toggle a low latency mode to mitigate this somewhat. The fact that this device only uses SBC for connectivity is both a blessing and a curse, as while SBC not the best codec for a balance of latency and quality, it does handle this codec well, as opposed to other earbuds with better codecs that they can be much more designed around. Because anything can connect via SBC, you won't incur a significant quality loss when connecting to any device not using a more modern codec, because it uses SBC no matter what. Unfortunately, most PCs will incur heavy latency, as is normal for most wireless headphones, and there's not much you can do about that. Overall, these earphones perform their function better than basically every other similarly priced earbuds, and even a lot of higher priced ones in the same category. There is no point in buying normal Airpods when these exist. It also helps that they are really cool looking, both out of and in the case. There is clear artistry in the design which is unparalleled by any other similar earphones. In terms of functionality, open-ear wireless earbuds are going to have compromises by design, and this owns these compromises and turns them into strengths more effectively than other devices in the category. There is not much point buying much more expensive products that perform worse, whether that be in comfort, sound quality, or ergonomics. This is currently your best all rounder, and it is a great price. Have fun with them.

Very practical & awesome "On-Ear" BT Buds
This sits right outside of your ears, no rubber/silicone ear tips being shoved into your ear canal. If you prefer that design, this is for you. It sits on my ear fairly well, depending on your ear shape, it might not. YMMV. It does a decent job naturally of blocking some sound out while leaving enough sound coming in to function as a "Semi-Open" Ear-Buds. This allows you to maintain SA (Situational Awareness) without drowning out the outside world. That's my personal preference, I hate having the outside world being completely blocked out, I want to maintain some sense of SA. For those who are into "Super Heavy Bass", this isn't for you; if you like moderate Bass & more Mids & Treble, this is for you. It's really convenient in it's Cylinder form factor. Having a simple & reliable rotating cylinder mechanism is very innovative. I saw a YT video of somebody shoving in a modified USB plug that was attached to a Electric Power Drill. After thousands of rotations over 4-5 minutes, the cylinder mechanism still works just fine. "Nothing" deserves ALOT of Props by going practical and functional while being clever. The size of the Cylinder Charging case is similar to a large tube of Lip Stick, nothing wrong with that, it works. The Cylinder isn't for those who wear "Skinny Jeans" and wants to put a tiny case into the tiny coin pocket. I carry a sling bag, so I can just shove the pouch & cylinder into my Sling Bag. Overall, a VERY AWESOME, Stylish, COOL Ear Bud that does what it says on the packaging at a very reasonable price. As long as you know what you're getting and keep expectations realistic, this "Nothing" Ear Sticks is damn good value. EDIT #1) 'First Month'+ Update: Here are my personal Battery Life-Time test results based on chatting on the phone primarily: + Nothing Ear Stick IRL Test Results: - NOTE: I only use 1x Ear Stick at a time to talk on phone calls due to the Mono-Sound nature of phone calls. - 50% Ear Stick Power ~= 1.5 Hr Talk Time ____________________ ~= 6.0 Hr Talk Time for both EarBuds Combined - 10% Ear Case Power ~= 50% Ear Stick Power ____________________ ~= 5x Full Ear Stick charges - Combined Talk Time ~= 21 Hr Combined Talk Time before you need to recharge everything at the wall - Wall Charge Time __ ~= A Few hours to reach 100% for the Ear Case + Ear Sticks EDIT #2) 261 Day Update: So far, the battery life has been consistent in how long it lasts for my set of Ear Sticks on talk time. They've updated the app to offer a 8-Band Advanced EQ where you can move around the EQ Points to a limited degree and how far they affect the curve, very powerful & advanced feature. I'm sure the Audiophiles will love it. I really wish this entire class of product had a On/Off switch, but it seems like most Earbuds don't have that, it's not just this model from this maker. You're dependent on the device to Auto On/Off or go to deep sleep. I wish they offered more than 10% increments for Fine grain battery Life, but that's apparently what the hardware designers choose to do in the outset of the design, they can't change that via software after the fact. So far, it's doing everything I'm expecting them to do. Edit #3) 664 Day Update: I've taken these on a Road Trip from LA to San Jose. I used one set of Ear Buds to listen to Podcasts as I drove, worked flawlessly. I really do love these Ear Buds

Good soun, doesn't fit my ear though.
Cool case, cool design, but it's gonna get a 4 star from me. It might be just me, but the shape of the earphones doesn't really fit my ear well. The air pod shape or old school wired Apple earphones shapes fit my ear hole better. These can fall out and have fallen out of my ear. But the sound is great. It's noticeably good but again the fit is not good for my ear. And I hate buds, because I don't like things getting jammed deeper on my earhole.

The best fitting and most comfortable bluetooth earbuds for small ears
I absolutely love these earbuds! The most important feature for me has been the in-ear comfort. I have small ears and many earbuds with the rubber tip generally do not fit me. And often, over a few hours of wear, most other earbuds become very uncomfortable. With the Nothing Earbuds, I can wear these for hours. I often forget that I have them in my ears. The comfort has to do with both the shape and the material. In terms of functionality: 1. They pair very easily 2. The sound quality is great both for listening to music or other audio, and for phone calls 3. This model is not noise-canceling but, through the app, there is a feature for "noise-reduction" which I find works extremely well 4. The case has a unique design - more like a larger tube of lipstick. Because of this design, it's both easy to open with one hand and it fits in my travel gear very easily. It also means that if I accidentally drop it, they earbuds don't fall out. Overall, I love these earbuds.

Ear stick 1: Not bad not great, bit overpriced.
This is the ear stick 1 not the 2 or whatever the newer one is called. Things I like: Really enjoyed the look of these and the compact case. I like how the case works and charges with usb c. Quick Bluetooth connect times. Voice frequency audio is pronounced. The iPhone app with EQ function is a cool idea and works well. These would work well for a work/office headset replacement similar to AirPods. I haven’t tested the mic though. Battery life seems okay but I haven’t used for more than a hour straight I would say. Things I don’t like: Listening to music on these is pretty painful especially if you are doing anything active. No adjustment for ear size at all. These just lay in the bottom of your ear and for me are virtually impossible to seal. At max volume I would compare the volume level to about 60% of AirPods as they do not fit my ear at all and all the sound escapes. With no EQ The frequency range is very 250-1000hz (ish) forward I would say and the treble is borderline too much for me. If I hold these in my ears they actually don’t sound bad at all with some EQ, but it’s nothing to write home about. I was +2 bass -1 mid and -2 treble. I’m not that much of a bass head I was just trying to get a semi balanced tone. Of course the fact I can’t get a consistent listening position in my ears makes EQ near impossible anyways. Other thoughts. A friend has the newer model (which I think is selectable option here) of these and they are seemingly adjustable to ear sizes. I would recommend that version if the budget supports it otherwise consider a cheaper set of iems. Just my two cents hope it helps someone out a bit.

Gimmicky and impractical.
Everything from the looks to the packaging feels gimmicky. They look cool but constantly fall out of my ears at the slightest movement. Which is made even worse by the squeeze controls. In order to pause/unpause/answer calls etc you have to squeeze the stem part that hangs outside the ear. The fact that they already have an extremely loose fit makes this squeeze control impractical. They just fall out at the slightest touch. Sound is tinny. The cylindrical case is also impractical if somewhat cool looking. I'm a big fan of well packaged products. These headphones came in packaging that tries so hard to be elegant but was just a nightmare to open. The tear strips didn't work right.... Think stickers that leave a big white residue when pulled off of an object. I wound up having to cut the box open which was a sign of the bad experience I was about to endure. Would absolutely not recommend. There are $20 no frills Bluetooth earbuds that blow these things away.

The best earbuds I've ever had!
I'm usually not a huge fan of wireless earbuds due to how frequently I lose them, but with these I've never had to worry. The case is amazing and possibly the best part of the design of the entire thing. A scenario I normally go through is dropping my earbuds case and then the earbuds flying everywhere never to be found again, but not with these the closing mechanism rotates in a way that makes these virtually impossible to lose, and fun to fidget with. The charge on these last multiple 8hr shifts on a single charge of the case, the weight is practically unnoticeable in your pocket and you can even buy carrying cases like I have to clip this to your belt! The equaliser that comes with the app is great, the sound quality is amazing for no tip earbuds, and the in-ear fit is perfect for me, they've never fallen out and they've become an easy every day use item for their comfortability.

Impressed
So far I’m very impressed. It is way better than the AirPods 3 in most ways. I personally like EarPods without a rubber tip. Yes it’s not as good for noise cancellation but better for sleeping and for the gym so my ears don’t get sweaty. I might pick these over the apple AirPods if the cost was the same. Since they are much cheaper these are a no brainer. Comparison to AirPods 3: Pros Noise cancellation Customize gestures. Being able to adjust sound is a big plus App is great. Better than apples for AirPods Customize sound profiles Battery life seems slightly better Cons Sound quality. You won’t notice unless you are compro by side by side but I do thing the sound quality is slightly better Must use a gesture instead of saying hi Siri (might be a pro if you are worried about Siri spying on your conversations)

Wouldn’t recommend to use in outdoors
Used it for 1 week and here are my reasons for returning it: 1) It didn’t fit properly in both of my ears! Had to adjust its position constantly. 2) Even with slightest moment, it kept falling off! So if you had used these type of plastic-finish, cushion-less earpieces, go for it. But wait till you read the remaining! 3) Touch targets were very small. If I’m wearing this earbuds and try to adjust the volume using the touch controls, it is very much difficult and mostly likely it falls off. So I had to take it out and then touch it carefully in those touch area! 4) As I mentioned in the title, it is good if you’re sitting all day and listening to music, but if you’re traveling or walking out in the roads, even with maximum volume, the audio was barely enough! 5) Noise cancellation/reduction whatever they call it, didn’t help at all! When it is enabled, it causes some hissing sound which creates more noise than it avoids! Using this with noise cancellation on may work when you’re already in a quiet room and people around you are talking! But not for outdoor usage! 6) Ear buds detect if we are wearing or taking it out and automatically pauses the audio playback! But it is quite sensitive and pauses everytime I try to adjust the earpiece to fit properly inside my ear! 7) Overall I’m quite disappointed with the purchase. It’s all fancy with their lipstick style case but not worth the cost! 8) And the worst of all, Amazon doesn’t accept returns! Only replacement is allowed! Good luck with explaining these problems to Amazon customer care representatives!

Superb (if they fit your ears)
I'm a bit of a headphone collector and have many both wireless and wired variants. I was drawn to these because they are not 'in ear' and can therefore be safely worn in a work environment, walking the dog etc as they still allow you to hear the world around you. Obviously with this type of open fit bud there are compromises on sound. Usually the bass is lacking somewhat but nothing have managed to somehow create a default sound profile that sounds full and unlike any other open fit bud I've tried before. That's not saying these are overly bass heavy or muddy sounding. To me they sound full and warm. You can even adjust the profile in the app if you prefer more or less bass emphasis. I love the default profile though - it sits just right for my ears. The design is gorgeous, and the case works better than I expected, although I have concerns about it's longevity and protection from dust. These are buds I could happily wear all day and I love the 'clicky' touch controls, similar to apple's approach. My only potential negative is that I think they may be too large for some ears. They fit mine perfectly but they're quite tight on me, so if you have smaller ears you may find these unsuitable. The in ear part looks about the same size as apple's offering but somehow feels a bit larger. Tldr - Great sounding, well thought out, affordable and unique looking buds - if they fit your ears.

Hier also schonmal der erste Punkt an Nothing.
