Sugru is an unbelievable product. Easy to use and gives great results. It is in a way like silicon, just much less sticky and more easy to handle and shape... also it does not irritate the skin, although you are recommended to clean your hands thoroughly after use. It is a few weeks since I repaired my frayed Apple charger cable with the white sugru and I can say it is really fit for purpose, soft, flexible, robust. The only think I can recommend is to clean your hands well, especially when using the white one as lint and debris can be quite apparent. Also planning a shape beforehand is a good thing, maybe using some tools to shape it regularly, as it is not easy to avoid the "handmade" finger-imprinted look otherwise (as you can see on the pictures). It does really take 12-24 hours to solidify, so keep it in a protected and clean place to set to get the best results.

This stuff is fantastic!! Only heard of it recently by reading a customers review, and I had never heard of it before! I have used it to fix a guest towel ring to tiles in the bathroom, and it has worked great! I left it to set for two days, but that was because I wanted to make double sure that it had set, and it has set beautifully. I only ordered one pack of three, and the individual strip are not very big, and it is not that cheap for a smallish amount, but after saying that, now I know this stuff exists, I will be buying more as I need it for things I need that need wall mounting with no drilling. I wouldn't like to try anything wall mounted that weighs a ton, but for more practical things like a liquid soap dispenser ect, it would work very well. Really pleased with sugru, and the seller. Delivery was just a few days. Top marks from me!!

My earphones have started to show wear and the rubber casing has split on the cable. Bought this Sugru to try and repair them after reading some reviews and seeing it on a shopping channel. It's very easy to use, but found I used more than needed initially due to the product coming away and splitting when used thinly, and this meant fine detailing and shaping were tricky.The main issue for me though is the smell! It is an awful pong when first opened and means you want to get the job done as quickly as possible.However, the splitting issue can be resolved somewhat if you place the product roughly where you want it and leave it for about 4 minutes and then remould it, and hopefully the smell will have eased off too. It has worked, and one sachet goes quite a way in use so repaired an old knife handle too. Excellent idea, good product (worth buying) but awful smell!

Great innovation. Sugru really did provide a strong bond/fix. I am impressed. Had a broken cupboard door (plywood) which I couldn't fix. It s now working again! Have bought sugru in white and black. The only downside (if any) is that you are limited the existing range of colours for sugru. And if it doesn't exactly match the rest of the surface (or is not in a hidden place) it will show. Wonder if the company could come up with a way for customers to customise the colour (maybe colour kit?). But that's "blue sky thinking". Great product.

Sugru is amazing. If you have something that can be saved by a long lasting repair then this is the stuff for you. One pack does go a long way so it would probably be best to save up a few repairs to save on wastage. With one pack I was able to fix both sides of trim on my dishwasher door, repair a phone charger my cat had nibbled on and fixed the lead on my cooking thermometer. I used another pack to fix the shelf in my mother's fridge. The shelf is now stronger than the original ones!Top tip: To get a smooth finish and get fingerprints out of the sugru, dip your finger in cold water and run over the surface when finished :)

I had two iPhone cables where the wire had worn on the ends so I read good things about this, in theory its brilliant but the reality not so much, now there is the possibility that I did something wrong? but there isn't much you can do wrong from what I can see, I simply flattened some and wrapped it around the exposed wire, by morning it was fixed! and it worked for a period, but no more than 24 hours later the stuff split perfectly all the way around.Now so far it is just the one cable that its failed on but I'm not sure how long It will last on the other as it was rather sudden and after barely any use so now I'm rather skeptical, honestly if you get this problem with cables maybe try to use shrink wrap as that worked much better for me after trying this. Maybe this is better suited for other uses but for cables I would probably give this a miss.

I think I saw in one of these reviews that yu find yourself finding things to fix. It is true! I bought these to try and fix a gap between the shower glass door and the top of the bath. I took a chance and whilst I did have to use a whole packet, I did shape the product as you would blu-tac and positioned it either side of the gap. Where I have bought inexpensive shower door seal replacements, this has worked a dream. It has not slipped, it doesn’t move and whilst it may look a little unsighlty for some, it is considerably cheaper than replacing a shower door. I did tidy up the application, by using the equivalent shape to a bank or oyster card and gently pushing the finished edge to be the same. Nearly two weeks on, there’s no sign of wear. This product really works.

Since initially getting it to recreate something that went missing on a toy, I've since used it to block off the pathway for the ants that kept bothering us, as well as bonding the cable on my laptop charger, preventing the wires from being exposed. I keep buying more because I never know when I'm going to find a new use for it. Very easy to use, you've just got to have a little patience - would recommend to everyone.

What a wonderful product to have been invented. Used it to fix a number of wires/chargers that were started to become detached or fraying and haven't had to worry about them since. Easy to use, like plasticine for kids that air dries. Just be sure to plan ahead because once you open a package of it, all the stuff in it WILL dry out - there's no saving it for later. What I did was collect a few items that I wanted to fix before I opened a pack. I find it a bit expensive for what it is and how much you get, but you know what, it gets the job done well, easily, and you actually don't need much of it per fix. I've used it to fix/secure a macbook air charger and a phone charger.

This stuff is fantastic. Not a direct replacement for DoubleBubble or LockTite epoxy when hardness/rigidity are needed, or strength IMO, but it is better when you need flexibility after cure and it's much easier to work with. Used this to repair my metal watch band when the links separated close to the spring pin. It held against the initial stretch over my hand and it doesn't irritate my skin at all.Pros: The clay-like consistency makes it very easy to mold. Holds shape Minimal slumping during cure Perfect for vertical applications Flexible after cure Amount of product per package is ideal for most applicationsCons: Cure time is 24 hours, 48 hours for thicker applications. There's no options for faster curing. This can be a long time to wait to find out it won't bond well to your material or that you've made a mistake in the application. Cure starts once the package is opened. No saving the leftovers for another time, use it all or throw away the excess. Thicker applications take twice as long to cure, so it might be better to throw some away than to use it all and wait an extra day for the cure. Best to have multiple projects ready.Minus 1 star for ease of use.

De momento, he utilizado dos de los tres sobres para el propósito por el que lo encargué: apañar el cable del cargador de mi mac. Acaba de cumplir 7 años, y tanto a la altura del enchufe a la corriente como en el puerto al ordenador empezaban a asomar las "tripas" y a cargar más despacio, ya que el plástico que recubre todo estaba destrozado. Coloqué el SUGRU tal como se indica, rodeando el defecto y con algo de margen, y lo dejé secar unas 8-10h sin tocarlo. El resultado es fantástico, el cable vuelve a funcionar como nuevo (a un precio muuuucho más razonable que un recambio) y estéticamente (es blanco) no se le puede sacar ni una pega.

Ich bin zufällig auf Sugru gestoßen und restlos begeistert. Die Handhabung ist einfach. Packung aufreißen, Masse herausnehmen und kneten. Dann die abzudeckende Kabellücke umwickeln und noch etwas schön formen. Mein Ladekabel ist an der Überisolierung zum USB Stecker hin gelöst und die einzelnen Kabel sind sichtbar. Ich hatte aber keine Lust 45 Euro für ein neues Kabel auszugeben. Mit Sugru konnte ich nun das Kabel mit dem USB Stecker wieder verbinden. Heute morgen konnte ich das Ergebnis nach dem "Aushärten" probieren, funktioniert klasse. Ok hätte noch etwas schöner geformt sein können aber es ist wieder "heile". Mal sehen was ich noch im Haushalt finde....
