Locks on tight!
This thing has good thread and locks on tight. My old cap would fall off going down the road. Put it on a dual tank 24 ram 3500

Perfect replacement

Bad connection to the tank lid
Works for my 2014 Nissan Versa sedan. The MN er of it's attachment to you tank lid is stupid and ineffective.

Failed After One Month
Failed after 1 month. Caused check engine light to come on and auto disabled traction control. Local auto parts ran a free diagnostic, indicating it had failed. Ordered an OEM, had to drive about 50 miles, and the check engine light cleared. This might be one of those parts it is best to pay a little bit more for OEM since it can affect safety features.

Perfect replacement for my 2018 F250
I purchased a used truck and whoever owned it before replaced the gas cap with one that didn't have a tether. Of course, luck would have it that about the first time I gassed up I dropped the gas cap and it rolled under the truck. So there I am, on my lunch hour, a 65 year old woman crawling under my truck in work clothes to get my gas cap. I could have moved the truck but it was a very crowded station where that wasn't really possible. Where is a chivalrous guy when you need him? Anyway, this item was a direct replacement for the original and the tether anchor was easy to install where the original was. Great buy and good value for the money. No issues with engine lights as a result of a bad seal - so overall it is a great replacement.
