Great battery at a good price
I already have several 18v power tools and just needed an extra battery when me and my son are working together. Charge fast and last well.

Lasts well, good quality original equipment
Great quality as you’d expect from Bosch. The 5Ah version lasts very well in most tools. My only criticism is that when these batteries are drained quickly (using a cordless vacuum extractor for example) they do get quite hot which means they can’t be recharged immediately. I have to let the batteries cool for a while before attempting to charge otherwise I get a red error light on the charger. This doesn’t happen with cold batteries. Other than that, great product - definitely but OE equipment rather than cheap alternatives.

Very long term review, highly recommended.
I’ve had these bosch batteries for over 5 years and not one have let me down. I’ve got 8 of them, I’m now starting to get the expert 8ah for my new bosch tools I.E. the hammer drill and circular saw which need a bit more oomf. However they have done the job very well for years and still are, highly recommended.

Der Bosch Professional GBA 18V 5.0Ah ist ein sehr zuverlässiger Akku für das Bosch-Professional-18V-System. Besonders überzeugt die lange Laufzeit: Im Vergleich zum 4,0-Ah-Modell sind spürbar längere Arbeitseinsätze möglich, ohne ständig den Akku wechseln zu müssen. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und robust, während die COOLPACK-Technologie die Wärmeentwicklung reduziert und die Lebensdauer der Zellen unterstützt. Mit 5,0 Ah bietet der Akku einen sehr guten Kompromiss aus Leistung, Ausdauer und Handlichkeit. Für Bohrschrauber, Sägen, Schleifer oder Gartengeräte ist er eine empfehlenswerte Standardgröße. Lediglich das höhere Gewicht gegenüber kleineren Akkus kann bei längeren Arbeiten über Kopf auffallen. Insgesamt ist der Bosch GBA 18V 5.0Ah ein langlebiger, leistungsstarker und vielseitig einsetzbarer Originalakku. Für Nutzer des Bosch Professional 18V Systems ist er eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Batteria molto valida
Ottima batteria, a basso costo. Il sistema Bosch a 18 V e' valido, completo e più economico rispetto ad altri marchi blasonati. Un consiglio: state attenti alle punte lunghe a 4 mordenti (anche della Bosch) perché hanno il fusto della stessa sezione della testa. Si intoppano con la polvere di scarto e vi fanno consumare molta batteria. Molto meglio le punte convenzionali, che spesso hanno il fusto di sezione inferiore. Hanno molto meno attrito. Una marca che ha queste caratteristiche e' la Dexter (marchio di Leroy Merlin). Costa pure la metà....
