3.5mm Stereo Earphone Adapter Sony Ericsson (WITH MICROPHONE)

I had been using earbuds plugged into my Sony Cellphone and I had to turn the volume all the way up to listen to FM Radio, With this adapter I now use Koss over the head style headphones and I can turn down the volume on the phone and it sound great. The Koss headphones I have also have a volume control that I can easily turn the volume up and down without fidgeting with the phone. So far this adapter works great. The plug that connects to the phone is clunky, but that is the fault of Sony for not using a standard USB style plug.

The Sony Ericsson phone I had needed this type of connector. While this unit worked OK the phone side was wearing out and I needed a rubber band to keep it connected. I have since purchased a different phone that does not need a special connector.

I got this adapter to replace my broken  Sony Ericsson Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-70 . I was surprised how GREAT the sound was! It's a WAY BETTER than the one at the link above! This adapter is just right, since we don't really need the headset. We can replace the headset with any brand headset and the combination is great! not worth it, it was defective, didn't go to the hustle of return it.

Works great

My old one broke and I got these as a replacement after trying something else out that didn't work. They were just like the originals.
