Might work on some airplanes; not United economy plus
It's a nice product and ours didn't have the quality issues you see in some of the other reviews. However, using the product on our long transatlantic flight was a challenge. We were in economy plus on United (extra leg room economy) and still wasn't enough space for the product to lay flat. Basically the part closest to the seat tray was at a 45 degree angle. If your flight doesn't have any extra legroom is likely will not work; but that is highly dependent on airlines and plane configurations. It does work well to close the gap between the edge of the seat and the table tray. Will give your toddler some extra space to play without falling. Attachment to the table tray was tricky as the plastic buckle was right where the support arm was.Would not recommend and we will not be bringing this one our next flights.

Does the job!
If it was a little more adjustable would be even better!

Just Okay
In theory, this should have been a big help on the plane, but truly it was a hassle to put together and didn't seem to make much difference. Our little one had her legs out on it, but ultimately sat cross legged for most of the flight because it was more comfortable. Not sure that this did much more than take up precious carry on space.

The idea is fantastic
My daughter is 3, she is a very tall 3 year old, and when it was set up it was perfect. She had her feet up and could put her toys and blanket down without them all falling on the ground. However, as soon as she moved it would start to fall down. It was hard to keep it in place and readjusting on a plane can be challenging.
