Pimpernel Lunchtime, 6 Placemats + 6 Coasters

I am very impressed with these. They are good quality in my opinion and are thicker and chunkier than my old set. These look like they will last too. I think they are good value and well worth the price.

These coasters and table mats are durable. Well made, heat resistant, superb quality and stylish.

These look great, are substantial and I hope they will be hard wearing, because they certainly aren't cheap. But I have had placemats in the past which look gorgeous but soon lose their surface coating. I will post again if this happens.Updated - bought these in February, it's now September and the surface coating is fast disappearing of these mats. So basically rubbish. Would not recommend at all now.

I loved these as soon as I saw them. Brilliant design. I always buy Pimpernel placemats and coasters as they last longer than any others I've tried.

Bit expensive, cant comment on durability as only purchased, same as other products on thickness

Love the old style signage look. Not flimsy, very robust. We use them out in the garden. Excellent!

Some reviewers state the surface is not very durable. Only time will tell with mine, but I bought them to use on a coffee table rather than for mealtimes, so hopefully they will last OK. They look good, and were well packaged, other than the small coaster pack which was on top of the larger place mat pack, and one of the corners had received a bash, but it hadn't damaged the coaster, so I still give the five stars.
