Very good product

These boots are great. Easy to put on, secure and reliable. I use them for sit ups and decompressing my spine. I would recommend having someone nearby for the first time because my untrained abs made it hard to reach the pole!

Excellent product

Just good as described

Comfy but potentially unsafe

These things are surprisingly comfy (given your entire weight hangs by your ankles) and feel very sturdy, but they would definitely benefit from some safety warnings, like:1. Do not do this when there is nobody around2. Always have the strap alongside to help pull yourself up.If one is hanging upside down, it takes quite a crunch to grab the bar again with the hands, and if one is tired/suddenly feeling unwell, I can totally see one getting stuck (a life-threatening situation, really).

Too soon to tell, but they seem to function as advertised

Got these yesterday primarily for spinal decompression, rather than extreme sit ups. I have had a quick go with them at my gym, so this review is very much a, 'Hot take.' The cuffs come with a 3 meter strip of a thin webbed strap which I assume is provided to assiste with the mounting/dismounting process. I wouldn't rely on this too much, so if you are new to inversion training, I strongly recommend you do it with a training partner who can comfortably support most of your body weight. The cuffs seem OK but I was expecting there would be some form of adjustment to accommodate different ankle thicknesses, like you get on ski boots. These are a one-size fits all design, so if you have thin ankles then you will definitely need additional padding to ensure a firm, tight grip. The locking buckle does have a safety catch to prevent accidental opening and the hinge seems sturdy with no excessive movement. They feel reasonably comfortable but take into account the additional weight when preparing to get yourself hooked onto a bar.I only hung on for about 2 minutes because I was at work and wanted to try them (new toy) so here are a few observations...You need to will yourself to relax your ankles as you will likely feel the need to pull your toes 'up' to your shin to maximise the grip (especially if you have small legs). When you do so, you will feel like your heel is going to slip through the cuff. Mine didn't, but the feeling is there. The grip isn't reassuringly 'tight' but as mentioned, my feet didn't slip out, so it's sufficient. It doesn't matter how 'swole' your calves are as it only goes around your ankles.Remove contact lenses (if worn) as you will definitely feel an increase in pressure in your eyes. (and obviously don't have anything in your pockets)Hooking yourself on is easier than unhooking, as you have the help of being able to swing your legs up to the bar. The unhooking process is where a training partner is very helpful. They can assist you in getting your hands on the bar again as well as supporting your weight when you unhook your legs.Overall, it's too soon to say whether these are a good investment or to comment on durability. They 'worked' as advertised and seem to be at the lower end of the price point for similar products.
