Used this add a Safari in Tanzania Africa. It’s pockets and it’s lightweight made it indispensable. Several of the other people wished that they had brought one with them.

Main complaint: The neck seam seems to bear all of the weight on the upper back instead of distributing it to the shoulders. Haven't noticed any problems but would not risk hiking with a lot of weight in the vest because it might injury the neck. For short distance and travel this is no problem, however. The pockets seem unusual sizes still. I was able to pack everything I wanted however the chest pockets are still too small so my things had to be relocated to different pockets than I would prefer. The pen holder thing is waaay too loose for any pen without a very strong clip and the tiny pocket next to them is just too small for anything except a lighter and some almonds. There are no pockets for your hands to rest in which is a huge bummer and I would have gladly traded some of the other pockets for. The huge inside pockets are very mighty indeed. The vest is quite cool and I did not need to open the back even when in the sun.Summary: Weight on the back of the neck is a no go for long term use. Pockets are okay good for replacing a small bag. Worth the money at least. Useful for biking and travel. Seems well made.

Substantial material with multiple pockets!

This vest is great. I am 5’ 8 1/2” tall. I weigh 165. The medium is loose enough to wear a sweatshirt under, but snug enough to wear with just a Tshirt. The fabric feels good, not great, but not cheap. I purchased for a safari costume. I took off a star due to inaccurate color description in seller’s photo. My complaint is that the “khaki” color I received is darker than the photo. I was expecting more of a cream/sand khaki color and it seems closer to a dark tan or beige. It will be ok for my costume, but wanted to post for others in case color matters.
