I love that she is learning how to listen to longer stories, and they are so engaging and relatable for her. I really wish there were other series of books that were written so well, taught such great character skills, and were just as engaging for the 4-6 year old range. Well done, AG!! They also compliment her school's "Mind Up" program. I find the books to be thoughtful explorations of the dynamics of friendship among young girls. There are also suggestions in the books for activities to reinforce the ideas in the book. I'm not sure if one would enjoy the books if you didn't own the dolls.

My daughter and I love these Wellie Wishers books! They are very well written and have very cute illustrations! This book focuses on Kendall and helps kids think of new ideas to do with things! Great book! I read it to my 5 year old and she loves all of the books in this series!

Love these WellaWisher books!! Good for any little girl learning to read. Easy sentences with mostly familiar words for younger ages to understand and read independently. Good story of creativity, patience, and forgiveness

My 5 year old daughter and I love all of the Wellie Wishers books! I especially love that they are different plot lines from the show on Amazon prime. This story about Kendall repurposing the old tidbits in the garden is really cute. Kendall seems to have the most different personality from the other four Wellie Wishers and it causes some tension (in the show too), but they always work it out in the end!
