Experience one of the biggest movie sagas of all time with the Jurassic Park Collection . From Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg ( Jurassic Park , The Lost World: Jurassic Park ), Joe Johnston ( Jurassic Park III ) and Colin Trevorrow ( Jurassic World ), dinosaurs once again roam the Earth in an amazing theme park on a remote island. The action-packed adventures find man up against prehistoric predators in the ultimate battle for survival. Featuring visually stunning imagery and groundbreaking filmmaking, these epic films are sheer movie-making magic which were 65 million years in the making. Welcome to Jurassic Park . Note: The discs in this box set are in French writing and the disc plays in English language. Review: Lovely way to store two great films and JP3. - I'm not going to beat around the brachiosaurus, I love this little booklet to store these films. Ive always like the franchise, with the first being my favourite film of all time, and the manner in which they are kept here is exquisite with a lovely embossed hardback storage booklet and a detailed sleeve. It come with 4 blurays in total and space for Jurassic world and Jurassic world 3D which is icing on the cake for this JP fan. The shots insie of each film are well selected and well produced. The films themselves are ranging from timeless to JP3. Jurassic Park needs no introduction, The lost world is a good film with average a characters but is fast becoming underrated based on modern critical opinion, and then we come to JP3 which to use the kindest terms is near vomit inducing and a hateful piece of T-Rex minimal garbage where raptors have conversations before and after kills and don't eat victims. Jurassic world can't be any worse. Also, don't let morons on here fool you, it is quite clear only the first film is in 3D if the description is read thoroughly and with a functioning brain. You also get ultraviolet codes which is lovely. Overall, if you are a JP fan, i think this is the set to geta and if you like JP3 don't get this set. Buy a straightjacket, or transformers on blu ray. Probably right up your alley. Review: Jurassic Park 4 film blu ray box set - clarifications for things unclear - Jurassic Park is a classic film, but the DVD transfers have always been lacking. The blu ray is not up there with reference quality but it certainly looks solid, film like and much more pleasing to look at. I have not checked the others yet, but from that benchmark, I'm sure they're fine. Another reviewer complained of difficulty navigating the menus - it's got standard Universal blu ray menus. A computer will allow you to skip through all the rubbish, but a stand alone blu ray player might not. The reason why I'm writing this review is because desertcart, much as I love the service they provide, tend to mix up reviews for different versions of the product (is it DVD? Is it 3D? All reviews under the product it has nothing to do with!). Also, it's unclear what the customer is getting when they buy this, so allow me to clarify. This is the Jurassic Park Ultimate trilogy boxed set with the Jurassic World blu thrown in. It comes in a standard plastic blu ray case for the trilogy and another for Jurassic World, standard retail box. It comes in a cardboard sleeve housing both. This has become common practice recently - the Bourne movies for example. This isn't a fancy cardboard fold out set. Photos below. It should also be noted then that this set has all the extras of the DVD trilogy and a bit more and obviously whatever the Jurassic World blu comes with. There is no Jurassic Park or Jurassic World in 3D.

Great collection.
My grandson is obsessed with dinosaurs but there's only so many times you can watch 'Walking with Dinosaurs' or 'Planet Dinosaur' I previously had just one of these films, the third one, not because it's the best film because in my opinion it's the weakest one, but my friend ordered it from American when it first came out and it wouldn't play on her DVD player so she gave it to me. Anyway I tried my grandson with it and he loved it and it made such a nice change so I decided to order the complete set, after all they're films which have stood the test of time and I'd not seen the new film 'Jurassic World' Delivery was very quick, it comes in one box with two cases inside, the three older films are in one case with the new one on its own. The only issue I had was one of the holding grips on the three case was broken on arrival which means it's very difficult to get the middle disk to stay in place also and this is a minor point but you have to select your language each time. Most people I would imagine will have already seen the first three films at some point, out of the three the first one is the best in my opinion. My favourite out of the set has to be the latest one 'Jurassic World' this could be partly because it's new and of course the dinosaurs are amazing because it is ultimately just a remake of the original, same idea, same mistakes and while I must admit I wouldn't have actually gone to see this film I did enjoy it way more than I expected on DVD. This set is good value, well unless you already have the other films I suppose but in my case it's worked out well and I'm so glad I decided to purchase.

Great set but be wary of the flimsy cardboard sleeve
This version of the Jurassic Park trilogy was produced to coincide with (or should that be ‘cash in’ on) the theatrical release of Jurassic World. It’s a nice set with 2D versions of each film plus the 3D version of Jurassic Park contained in a digibook with slots for each disc plus spaces for both the 2D and 3D versions of Jurassic World. Jurassic Park is by far the best of three films; although much of its original success was down to the ‘wow’ factor of the stunning dinosaur effects, even after 20 years it is still an immensely enjoyable yarn with great performances, edge-of-your-seat action and breath-taking visuals. Although The Lost World pales by comparison, it is still a very entertaining film; it takes its time to really get going, but once all hell breaks loose it delivers relentless thrills and spills with fabulous performances from Jeff Goldblum and the late Pete Postlethwaite in particular, though the San Diego sequence while brilliantly executed does feel like it belongs in another film. Jurassic Park III is the weakest of the three and feels like one of those movies where the set pieces were created first and then a plot was bodged together to fit them all together. I also found that some of the attempts at humour were just plain silly (e.g. the cuts between the main characters getting attacked by the Spinosaurus and Laura Dern's kid watching Barney on TV). I guess you could say that it lacks the Spielberg touch, with effects maestro Joe Johnston having taken over the directorial reins. Having said that the dinosaur effects are still very impressive and the cast, led by the returning Sam Neill, do their best. Picture quality on all three films seems pretty good to me (though I don’t have a 3D TV so cannot comment on the 3D version of JP) and audio is also good. There are plenty of extras to wade through: all the previously released SD material plus six HD ‘Return to Jurassic Park’ documentaries spread across the three films. Sometimes the menu system is unnecessarily fiddly to navigate (at one point with Jurassic Park III I found myself in a fifth layer of sub-menus!) but this is a general gripe with all Universal BD releases and not specifically restricted to this set. Also, while I always enjoy in depth behind the scenes documentaries, I felt that some of the material was there just to make the collection of extras seem super-exhaustive, and on JP3 certain interview clips appear two or three times across the various featurettes. Now for my gripes. Firstly, this set is not as sturdy as its US equivalent (as usual). I’ve ordered three copies of this from different online retailers and they have all arrived with creases in the ‘spine’ of the slipcover where they’ve been squashed in the post. But what’s more annoying (though it’s not a criticism of this specific set), is that when JW was released on BD the US digibook was re-released with the 2D and 3D editions of JW included, but in the UK we just got the four 2D movies in a standard Amaray case double-pack. Another example of the UK being a poor cousin in the home cinema world. If you manage to get hold of a copy of this in good condition (or if a few creases don’t bother you) then it’s a definite four star release, though you will of course need to track down a 2D+3D Jurassic World set to complete the collection. But if you can afford it you may want to investigate the region free US digibook which already contains all six discs.

Great fun.
Loved them all. The first is the best of course but the actors in all are great and the dinosaurs are brilliant. Brings out the kid in you (if there is still one there). Great buy. Good delivery.

Fantastic box set
Beware there are reviews for 2 different box sets here-naughty amazon. This is for the white box set of the first 3 movies. Absolutely the nicest box set I think I’ve ever had. Opens up like a book with a dvd slot in each page, beautiful pictures. The first movie is in 3d and its amazing, one of best 3d films I’ve seen. There are 2 spare disc spaces/ pages for you to add The Lost World in 2d and 3d. I bought The Lost Word 3d and Fallen Kingdom 3d and use the last 2 pages for these, so I have all 5 movies in a lovely set. Couldn’t be happier with this.

Great movies. Especially 3D version of Jurassic Park I
Great movies. Especially 3D version of Jurassic Park I. Dinosaurs looks like they were real. One of the best 3D movies I have. Other movies are very good too. After all it's directed by S. Spielberg. For example - scene where bus was falling from the cliff. I almost believed it's true. Also you can download digital copies which is not very practical unless you have very big hard drive. Scenario and actors are not very good and believable. Bad guys arte to bad, good guys are too god as usual. Corporations are big and evil etc. But you forget this after first 15 minutes of every movie. Paper packaging was little damaged during delivery which should be blamed on amazon single layer packaging.

Great film collection for movie lovers
The boxed collection is actually much better quality than I had anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised. The logo on the boxed sleeve is raised and has a nice finish. Even the scales have a texture on them on the cover. The book inside is very solid and the discs do not move in the sleeves. They do not come with cases, or even a plastic keep sleeve to snap on the discs. They simply sit between the cardboard sleeves. Other reviewers have said they have received the discs badly scratched, but all of my discs were absolutely pristine with no scratching. We have been adding to our Blu-Ray collection for years and the Jurassic Park collection is a great staple piece. I love the fact that we also were given Digital HD codes for each of the four movies, since we have been building up our Vudu library online as well. I think at this price you get a tremendous value for the money. A lovely case, a book, four films and a 3D copy of one, as well as four digital HD codes. Jurassic Park has been one of those series that always induce awe for me. The first film came out when I was very, very young, and I remember quite vividly the memories I have watching it in the theater. There is a great sense of nostalgia owning this collection, and for anyone else who has grew up watching these films, this collection is a perfect purchase.

This is the best you can get for these movies
* The box contains The trilogy and Jurassic world as separate bluray boxes. The UV code of all 4 films are available along with discs. * All the movies are rendered in HD TV aspect ratio (no black bars above & below) with lossless 7.1 tracks. This is the best you can get for these movies. * Not much additional content on each disc and no special discs either. * Could've bundled the 3D copy of 1st and last movies as available in other markets. Reducing 1 star for above 2 reasons. * The leaflet of trilogy box is made of very poor quality and the worst is, mine came damaged in un-opened box. Going to be difficult to preserve the blurays with this box. So reducing another star.

Incluye extras. Muy recomendable.
