8000mAh Emergency Radio - Solar Hand Crank Emergency Radio with 3-Mode Flashlight, AM/FM/NOAA Battery Powered Radio with SOS Alarm & Compass for Power Outages Emergency Storm

I originally bought the 8000mAh Emergency Radio with Solar Hand Crank as part of my “just in case” emergency kit. I live in an area that gets its fair share of storms and occasional power outages, and I wanted something that could handle multiple tasks—radio, flashlight, charging, etc.—without relying on wall power. Fast forward to a nasty storm last month. Power went out for nearly 24 hours. My phone was almost dead, my portable charger was already drained, and the house was pitch black by 7 p.m. That’s when I pulled out this radio. The flashlight alone was incredibly useful—bright enough to light a room, and not just a small beam. I used the hand crank for a few minutes and got enough power to charge my phone just enough to text my family and get updates. The NOAA weather alerts kept me updated on the storm path, which helped a lot with peace of mind. The next day, my neighbor came by to check in. Her phone had died, and she didn’t have any backup power. I let her borrow the radio for a few hours. She ended up using the solar panel to charge her phone in the sunlight and was so impressed with how well it worked that she ordered one the same day. Now we joke that we’re starting a “crank-powered neighborhood watch.” Bottom line: this is one of those items you hope you never need, but when you do, it absolutely delivers. Rugged, practical, easy to use, and multifunctional. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to be better prepared—especially if you live somewhere prone to weather disruptions.

I was really impressed with this weather radio Works great Received weather alerts Nice to have multiple weather channels Super easy to use High quality sound Holds a great charge Multiple was of charging by outlet solar and works with my power pack Light weight Brightness of the flash light was better than expected Looking to get a couple more to keep with camping gear

This 8000mAh Emergency Radio is one of those items I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. Whether you’re preparing for a storm, camping in the woods, or just looking for a reliable backup, this radio is packed with features that make it incredibly useful. First, the multiple power options are a game-changer. It can be charged by the solar panel, the hand crank, or a regular USB port, meaning you’ll always have power no matter where you are. The hand crank works smoothly and provides enough charge quickly in case of emergencies, and the solar charging is perfect for camping trips when you’re out in the sun all day. The 8000mAh battery capacity is impressive, and it can even double as a power bank to charge your phone, which I’ve used on multiple occasions. Having that option in a pinch is incredibly reassuring. The built-in 3-mode flashlight is another standout feature. It’s bright and versatile, with high, low, and SOS modes for emergencies. Whether I’m walking back to my tent at night or dealing with a power outage at home, the flashlight is strong enough to light up the space around me. One of my favorite design features is the sturdy strap. It makes it so easy to attach the radio to my backpack while hiking or hang it on a tree branch while setting up camp. This hands-free option ensures the radio stays secure and accessible without getting in the way. The AM/FM/NOAA weather band functionality is excellent for staying informed during storms or emergencies, and the reception was clear even in a more remote area. The only downside is that this radio is not NOAA certified, which would add an extra layer of reliability. That said, this emergency radio is still a must-have for anyone who camps, hikes, or wants to be prepared for power outages. It’s well-made, versatile, and loaded with useful features, all while being compact and lightweight. For the price, it’s an incredible value and a product I know I can rely on.

This is a neat device, as you can charge it by solar, electricity or by turning the crank! It has a flashlight, a led light, am and fm radio plus weather notification channels! It has a sos button that when you hold it down for a few seconds it sounds off a very loud siren like noise! You can charge your cell phone on it too! I was so impressed I ended up ordering more for family members!

I liked that it has 3 ways to charge it, USB, solar and crank...the sound quality is very good, very easy to use, and had a strong flashlight. It's bigger than the smaller one I had bought 2 years ago and not more money so I bought two. One for me and one as a gift for my grandson. he too was impressed with it. You can use it in the backyard or any place you don't have plug ins for and electric one too. Just great!

Perfect for emergencies! Have multiple ways to charge which is perfect. It also has multiple options so its not only a radio but can be used as flashlight and emergency noise. Seems sturdy, has fallen multiple times but it still works perfectly.

As advertised, will be handy next time we have a blackout. The flashlight is bright, radio works. Haven't used the solar charge feature yet, it hand cranks in a pinch to last about 15 minutes per several minutes of cranking. Must have something like this in places like CA!

Living in Nashville, I often deal with power outages in my neighborhood. This device has become a staple whenever the power goes out, I’m able to hand, crank it to recharge the battery if it dies, and it has a built-in radio so that way, I don’t have to rely on my phone. It also has a light built-in and you can use it to charge your device devices. This thing really rocks and for the price that it is it is awesome.
