will this be ok for a tv/dvd Meos make tv it has all the same numbers but only different is that it says 60w and the oldone i have says 40w

Providing the voltage of the tv in question ie 12 volts is the same and it is a positive centre connection then it will be fine the max watt shown is how much the adapter can supply but will only draw what is needed by the connected device so if your tv needs only 40 watts max it will work with no problem if you look at the label on the one you have you will see a small diagram with a + and - marking with a circle between them if the circle is broken on the side with the + then it is centre pin positive and is the same polarity as the chennel well , hope that makes sense hard to explain without a diagram. Make sure you are sure about this before ordering as connecting with the wrong polarity will damage your tv.

When i switch on, neither the green (ac adaptor) nor the red (tv) lights come on. should i replace the ac adaptor?

no doubt you have checked the fuse in the wall plug? If that's OK its likely to be the adapter, though mine is 12months and works OK with a green light. You should be able to replace it under warranty if its a Chennel adapter you've bought.

CAD065121 is a 65W power adapter. Unfortunately, KPL-060F-VI is a 60W adapter so it cannot replace a 65W adapter.
