Yes. The balm creates a barrier which the dust/pollen/allergens gets stuck to and so the allergens don't go into the body.

Does it matter which "flavour" you buy or is that personal preference?

It doesn’t matter which - as you say, it’s personal preference. Particularly sensitive people tend to stick with Pure in case they are sensitive to the essential oils. My favourite is Frankincense. Thanks very much for the question. Max.

Is this just vaseline?

Is this scented and how often do you apply it?

I have the Pure one, not Aloe Vera. The pure one just smells like the wax. I apply before going out, around my eyes and nostrils. I apply after I have wiped my nose and they occasionally through the day if I am out and start to feel my eyes itch again
