Inexpensive kit and had three of the four parts I needed to fix the dryer.
This kit was inexpensive and had three of the four parts I needed to repair my dryer. I replaced the heating coil about two years ago and it still Ohm'd out fine. I had two of my sensors we'll call them that were bad, open circuit with an Ohm meter. One was the thermistor control and the other was the high limit thermal fuse. Both of these were correct in the kit for my dryer which is a Kenmore He2 from probably around 2001 or so. I also used the thermostat from the kit which matched mine. The only part that did not match my unit was the thermal fuse but my original one is still good. The one I'm holding in the pick is my original one and the long skinny one is the one from the kit. Obviously, the openings and mounting points are much different. I didn't get deep enough in the dryer to see that fuse before I ordered the kit, but like I said mine was still good and all the other parts fit. The dryer is back up and drying and for a very reasonable price.

Worked with my Kenmore HE3 Elite
The resettable high limit thermostat is the one that is busted on my dryer. I ended replacing the heating element but did not touch the other thermal fuse. These fuses/parts matched my dryer. I will be ordering another one for space since this always seem to break every few years.

If you can do repairs, then this will definitely save you about $300 in paying a repair shop. It's not difficult. You can look up youtube videos and figure it out in no time. Total time to replace all parts is less than 30 minutes.

Part broke after the first use.
After the first use the part broke. So I had to order another one. It was supposed to be here yesterday but now they have changed it. It won't be here till the 12th of November. A long time when you have no dryer!!!
