I've got a few scratches and small chips in my laminate that aren't bad enough to justify replacing anything, but once you know they're there your eyes seem to go straight to them. This kit has been handy because it deals with both surface scratches and deeper damage rather than just colouring over everything with a repair pen. There are 11 hard wax colours included, covering quite a wide range from white and lighter pine/maple shades through oak and cherry to darker browns, grey and black. The colours can be mixed too, which I've found far more useful than trying to find one block that's an exact match. Laminate can have several shades running through the same plank, so blending a couple gives a much less obvious repair. For chips, dents and small holes, the heated tool melts the wax so I can work it into the damaged area, let it harden and then level off the excess. It heats up quickly, so there's not much waiting around before starting. Once cooled, the wax sets surprisingly firm and the repair looks much better than leaving the lighter damaged material underneath exposed. I actually find the 8 dual-tip touch-up pens even more useful for everyday scratches. The broader end covers scuffs quickly, while the fine tip lets me add little grain lines afterwards so the repaired section doesn't look like a solid patch of colour. I've also been able to use the kit on furniture and skirting boards, so it isn't something that's only useful for the floor. There is a bit of trial and error involved with colour matching. I'd definitely test the colour somewhere inconspicuous first because the name on the wax or pen doesn't necessarily mean it'll match your particular shade of oak, walnut or laminate perfectly. All in all, I'm impressed with how complete the kit is. It won't make major damage magically disappear, but for the scratches, chips and little dents that normally catch my eye every time I walk past, I can get them looking considerably less noticeable without replacing anything.

This is a really versatile kit and can be used not only on laminate floors but on worksurfaces and real wood too. This is easy to use especially as this kit has both the wax bars and the pens included. The wax bars are great where dents and holes need to be filled and the rechargeable hot blade is used for this. Even this tool has three voltage settings which I have not seen before, allowing the wax to be as soft or firm as desired. Once set this wax is pretty tough and lasts a long time. I really like the pens as for laminate which is just scratched, they can be used and although all marked for different wood types I actually blended a few to get the desired results on beech laminate and once dried and aged it does a great job in hiding the scratch. Great selection of colours and excellent value for money for such a quality very complete kit.

The filler was so hard that it came out of the wrong end of the tube. The grey marker produced a different darker colour. Disappointed!

These markers have done wonders to bring some of my old furniture back to life. I haven't even needed to use the other items yet. The different color options make it easy to match anything.

It came in a small pack. It is very easy to store them. I tried the marker one and I am very happy about the results. It effectively helps to blend the shallow scratches. You can almost find a match from this pack for your furniture. If you are patient in using that, you will be very satisfied with the results. Almost impossible to pinpoint the repaired part. I tried the soft pen. Honestly, I did not like it that much. It did not fill the deeper scratches. All in al it worth money I paid and am happy with it

Got a new Ikea table and someone raked something across the table top- i used the waxy filler and cant even tell there was a problem. The selection of colours is great though Ive only used on - it was worth it just to not see that chunk taken out of the table top

This is helpful in that it comes with paint tubes, paint markers, and crayons. It also has a bag of small brushes and mixing spatula. I like that is has so many different colors and different types of products for fixing furniture blemishes. I don't especially like the paint markers as they do are too transparent and don't have enough paint when you use them. The paint in tubes is much better. Because there are so many colors from white to various shades of brown to black, it's easy to mix and experient and layer to get the colors you need. Easy to use. Great to have in case of scratches and dings.
