The best olive oil i have ever purchsed

Having recently read that the shop-bought olive oil I'd been using all my life was not the best, I decided to try something better. My research suggested that unfiltered olive oil was the one to go for and most of the reviews led me to choose this brand. The packaging is attractive. I like the angular shape of the bottle and the cork stopper rather than the usual screw-top lid, but I was expecting a more fruity taste from my experience of extra virgin olive oils and a light green colour. This has a smooth taste, almost bland, and a yellow rather than green colour. Not having tried an unfiltered olive oil before, I haven't another brand to compare it with, but it definitely tastes purer than the shop-bought stuff.I usually cook with olive oil, but at this price I only use this for salads, dips and my liver cleanse recipes. I can't say I notice a great deal of difference in the taste of these, because this is so understated, but I'm hopeful they're at least healthier.

Very nice olive oil, one of the best I've tried. The price has varied from cheap to 'oh my giddy aunt' high, not sure why, but it's a lovely olive oil suitable for light salad dressing, with a subtle and gentle flavour and fragrance, not at all over powering.

Very poor olive oil and I don't believe it's all olive oil. Its so weak in flavour it seems it must be cut with a cheaper vegetable oil. Its supposed to be unfiltered too which would give it a stronger flavour and darker colour but this oil hardly tastes of anything and is very light in colour - yellow in fact.The only other review about this product on here looks to me to be from the people who are selling this item.It's a real rip-off.
