Will this work on dye than has run into white parts of clothing?

No it won’t, but it’s brilliant for stains.

Cam this be used on a dress that has previously been stained with bleach by another stain remover

In these circumstances , I don't think anything can repair the damage cased by bleach

Will it work on cream acetate / silk fabric ?

Definitely not: any water based cleaner could damage the fabric. Seek advice from a dry cleaners

Would this remove Blood stain from a carpet, stain is 8 weeks old

I very much doubt it and I wouldn't like to chance it either. I think you would be better off using a specialist, stain remover such as Vanish but only the one especially formulated for carpets.. But as the stain is old and therefore much more difficult to remove, you may wish to seek professional help from a company like ServiceMaster who can come to your house or possibly supply an appropriate product. It depends if you think it's worth it

Best clothes stain fighter I've ever used

The title of my comment says it all. Everyone should own this. I personally like it better than the spray bottle (it's the same product just a different method of delivery -- complete personal preference). The spray bottle is self explanatory. I'll explain this gel stick. If you hold the stick upside-down, nothing drips out. If you hold it upside-down and press it against the clothes, however, a small amount of gel comes out. Then you can use the stick itself (which has a bumpy top) to work the product into the clothes. Product does not continue to come out as you do this because you're not pressing hard enough (trust me).
