how many slots does this use?

What do you mean slots, it takes one leg on the pic rail to mount. and is about 3 legs long.

Will this s co witness with vortex spitfire 2 red dot sight?

I think you mean Vortex strike fire II. I have this on the 1/3 cantilever mount. It co witnesses with my MBUS pro’s. All Magpul sights should be same height over pic rail.

Can I swap the front post for a standard a2 front post?

I wouldn’t buy the set if you want to use the A2 front sight. You can buy just the rear sight only which would save you money.

How is co-witness with this set?
