Anyone who has teenagers knows the hardship that comes with friends and choices, we give them all the trust and in return ask for open communication, respect and to follow a few guidelines. One very eventful day in April led to us questioning what our teenagers have been up to and making this super great purchase! We’ve used it a couple times to verify the boys aren’t using anything. It’s been a great way to help build trust and also been a great conversation starter when we’ve had company haha. Hope to never have to buy again lol

I tried one on someone who is nicotine and another one on someone who I know used nicotine. Neither one produced any result. And yes I read the instructions and followed them. Don't buy these. Cheap and unreliable. I feel like my money was wasted.

My son was having an issue with vaping in school so we tested him frequently and with many kinds of tests.I much preferred this to the kind with the sample windows. The kind with the dropper and the little window you put the sample on aren’t good - air bubbles sit between and you have to stir it up frequently to ensure it’s getting contact and it’s kind of gross. This one has a wider collection wick and it’s at the end so you have more area to make contact with. It’s a little hard to get it to wick up at first. I started out having him spit in a little cup and then sticking the end of this in the cup, but that took a long time. Now I just have him put the end in his mouth and suck on it until it looks wet past the control line then set the timer before we read results.The package says it can detect up to around 4 days and I think that’s accurate. When he’s negative it comes up pretty fast. When it’s been a couple of days since he last vaped, it takes longer and the negative line is very faint. When it’s positive I can usually tell before it wicks up to the control line but we still wait the time to read just in case. It’s been positive when he claims he’s only had a puff or two at lunch at school so I’ve been confident it tells if he’s done it at all at least within the last 4 days.We use this for testing recent usage and then a urine test for further back.
