This is brilliant too, we use it in conjunction with the Gardena water timer and we also have a 'spider' water distributor so can do all 6 zones separately.,

perfect little thing, accurate and good looking in the garden. beware it has a relatively thick stick and will leave a visible hole in the lawn.

Brilliant item for the British climate saves a lot of wasteful watering .

Bought to water my 7x3m patch of lawn in the backyard. It works well within the gardena system. Loses two stars:a) It is not wireless so I had to place it as close as possible to the water source and hide the wire to the controller in the tap. Not a big issue in my backyard but may be a problem to others where the sensor may be far away from the water sourceb) It is expensive

Delivered promptly and functions as advertised.

Does what it says on the tin. I prefer the approach of measuring soil moisture directly, rather than attempting to catch and measure rainfall.
