Does this come with one box of 4 black ink cartridgesand one box color? ?

No, just one of each color and black ink inside one box.

NOWHERE does it say in this basically large ad what actual printers it works in; which model number of Epson PRINTERS?

Check ink cartridges it will say on each one what number is replacement . Example 222. Buy same number in this case 222 on product box.

Please explain the Subscription plan

With any Amazon subscription plan, you pick a time frame (I think the ink is suggested for like every 4 weeks), and Amazon will send it once a month, and charge the card you have on file. We use subscriptions for our cat food and litter.
