Irwin Quick-Grip 59200CD Handi Clamp 2-inch / 50mm

Many moons ago I bought four small clamps of the same make and style and over the years they have been super useful in my workshop albeit a tad small. So, having decided to embark on a new project I felt that I could justify some new ones but bigger and thus these nice shiny ones arrived at my gaff a few weeks ago. And... I love them. They are just what I need in my workshop as quick go-to clamps when needing moderate force. Well made and even being plastic they won't break unless you have the grip of a silverback gorilla. I love the clean design and simplicity of use. Bottom line is that I like everything about these and the price is fair for what they are.

Albeit a bit pricey these clamps are good quality and let’s be fair you can’t have too many clamps!!

Works as expected and has a quality feel. Docked one star because the first one turned up with no grips on the jaws and it had to go back.

Didn’t last very long

Having previously used the tradional heavy metal G-clamps, which although immensely popular and highly efficient, were cumbersome and akward to use at times. The move to the new Irwin Quick-Grip Handi clamps was made because of their ease of use, light weight, range of product and corresponding reduction in required storage space.

Find that its only any good for clamping thin material together. Dose not do very well for clamping plywood to 1.5" box section.

There are cheaper clamps out there, but anyone who knows the Irwin brand will know that their stuff is built to last. Been using this clamp for a while now and it never fails to impress, well worth the money! dont compare with cheaper brands!

Sehr einfach mit nur einer Hand zu verwenden

It is very handy when some is especially working ⚒ alone. It becomes an extension of the hand. The quick release mechanism is very useful.

Comprei 2 um da wolfcraft PRO e outro da marca Irwin, posso dizer que a qualidade não é igual, nem o plástico nem o mecânismo mecânico do metal no interior, o da wolfcraft PRO é feito na Europa com bastante qualidade, o da IRWIN é feito na China e nota-se na qualidade dos acabamentos, do plástico e do mecânismo mecânico de metal, serve para trabalhar, mas quem ler esta avaliação recomendo que compre o da marca wolfcraft PRO um pouco mais caro uns euros, mas vale cada centavo
